Purpose Of Assignment:
- Individual Consultant to Evaluate, Review, and Update the Digital Health Policy, Strategy, And Operations Plan Documents.
Scope Of Work:
The consultant will undertake the following tasks:
- Document Review and Analysis
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the National Digital Health Policy (October 2021) and National Digital Health Strategy 2021–2025.
- Assess the progress, achievements, and challenges noted in the end-term evaluation report.
- Review existing operations plans and relevant stakeholder reports.
- Evaluation
Develop an evaluation framework and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assessing digital health governance, coordination, and capacity.

Stakeholder Engagement

Scope Of Work:

Purpose of Assignment:
- The objective of the consultancy is to support the DFDS to review and finalize the framework on NDDG which is a crucial document in the health supply chain system, and to ensure smooth running of operations are put in place. The framework for the operationalization of the central medical stores will articulate the governance system for the management.
Scope of Work:
He/she will work with relevant officers of the Department of Food and Drugs Services and stakeholders to review and finalize the National Drug Distribution Guidelines (NDDG) through the outlined processes:
- Desk Review the draft version 2.0 of the NDDG

Due to the limited access to schooling and poor quality of education, about 75 per cent of children aged 7–14 do not develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills, which are critical building blocks for continued learning and acquisition of advanced skills. Insecurities such as armed conflicts and natural hazards in Northeast and North West of Nigeria poses additional challenges in securing and expanding access to quality, inclusive education for children in Nigeria.

- Lead a series of high-level technical workshops with FME to review the model (with input from our ongoing research of the model) and identify the areas for refinement.
- Support FME to develop a roadmap for the refinement of the model including a timeline with a technical working group.
- Lead the technical group to undertake the agreed refinements, which will include:
- The development of a handbook outlining the model and how to conduct the learning lab approach in schools.
- Updated training materials for the SSO and headteacher instructional leadership training.
- The development of a series of pedagogical modules to support learner centered teaching and learning. - Education is being transformed in Nigeria, specifically though the NESRI initiative. This is the Nigerian education sector reform initiative and focuses on six key education reform areas: These areas are Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medical Sciences (STEMM education), reducing the number of Out-of-School Children, Enhancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), advancing Girl-Child Education, Harnessing Data and Digitalization and Strengthening Quality Assurance Mechanisms. Alongside these reform areas, there is also significant work taking place in social behavior change initiatives at Federal, State, LGA. School and community levels. The FME has requested the support of a technical specialist in SBC in the development of a national SBC strategy. Therefore, UNICEF seeks an international consultant to support FME in this development.
