    Marketing Associate

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deposit mobilization: Focus on driving customer acquisition and growing volumes, especially in the area of Retail business in the MFB through opening of different types of accounts.
    • New Customer acquisition: To on board new customers
    • Relationship management: Build a customer retention strategy e.g., keeping customers informed, consistent and frequent communication with customers providing complete, concise portfolio valuations and guidance.
    • Grow revenue on a month-on-month basis
    • Deploy the MFB’s e-channels across different customer segments
    • Onboarding of customers across the MFB’s channels
    • Contribute significantly to the branch’s profitability i.e., growth of deposits, loans and overdrafts to increase profitability of the branch.
    • To give feedback to the Business Development Manager about market situations on new product/existing product development/upgrade for growing small and medium scale businesses and individuals in our marketing environment.
    • To bring about value added benefits to every customer by cross selling other value-added products to every customer.
    • To come up with initiatives and ideas that enables improved productivity and achievement of milestones.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Minimum of First Degree in any Discipline, with a special consideration of OND in any Discipline. Additional Qualification will be an added Advantage
    • Minimum of 1 year cognate experience
    • Personal characteristics: Sense of Empathy, Attention to Detail, Positive Attitude, Integrity and Willingness to Learn
    • Digitally Savvy
    • Possession of a Smart phone (any Smart phone that can run MFB applications).

    Salary

    • N50,000 monthly (Net).

    Compliance Officer

    Job Description

    • Disseminates compliance information to employees as needed
    • Ensures organizations comply with legal and ethical guidelines, compliance officers perform audits and research institutional practices. They create internal and external reports based on their findings.
    • As part of compliance monitoring, compliance officer identifies activities and practices that risk violating regulations and industry standards. Works alongside managers and employees to mitigate these risks.
    • Serves as intermediaries between Step By Step MFB and overseeing bodies, including regulating agencies and government authorities.
    • Keeps coworkers informed about rules and regulations by offering workshops, classes, and training.
    • Answers questions and serve as a resource for information about compliance.
    • Stays abreast of changes in regulation, guidance and best practices to inform the SBS MFB’s Management of and provide information on compliance changes that may affect them.
    • Provides guidance and assistance to the SBS Officers in coordinating and overseeing an effective Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC Compliance Program in line with current industry best practices, regulatory guidance and requirements.
    • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk through analysis and assessment.
    • Develops corrective action plans for problematic issues and provides guidance on resolution and future prevention and mitigation.
    • Prepares reports for Management and the Board of Directors concerning the compliance function including scope and results of compliance audits.
    • Works with the Internal Auditor in functions involving compliance related issues.
    • Act as liaison/contact for Federal examinations and internal and external independent reviews or audits of Compliance areas. Participates in response to exam and audit concerns and oversees corrective action of all related compliance deficiencies or violations.
    • Monitors the performance of the compliance programs and related activities taking appropriates steps to improve its effectiveness.

    Bank Teller

    Job Description
    Customer Service:

    • Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals.
    • Cross-sells MFB products by answering inquiries; informing customers of new services and product promotions; ascertaining customers' needs; directing customers to a branch representative.
    • Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency reconciling transactions; turning in excess cash and mutilated currency to head teller; maintaining supply of cash and currency.
    • Maintains customer confidence and protects MFB operations by keeping information confidential.

    Banking Operations:

    • Ability to demonstrate acumen for banking, transaction process, cash handling, customer service, operations, systems technology and communication while maintaining up to date knowledge on all products, services, technology and policies
    • Conduct dozens of MFB’s routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash cheques, accept deposits, process withdrawals etc.
    • Obtain approval from Teller Team Lead or appropriate authority for amounts beyond own limit
    • Monitor adequacy of cash -in -till while ensuring exposure is within approved insurance limit
    • Register deposit transactions in the shadow register
    • Complies with MFB operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions;
    • Make sales referrals, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
    • Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Teller Team Lead (TTL)
    • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures
