    Marine Engineer III

    Main Functions

    • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    Tasks and Responsibilities
    In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 3:

    • Prepare technical reports for use by engineering, management, or sales personnel.
    • Maintain contact with, and formulate reports for, contractors and clients in order to ensure completion of work at minimum cost.
    • Coordinate activities with regulatory bodies in order to ensure repairs and alterations are at minimum cost, consistent with safety.
    • Procure materials needed to repair marine equipment and machinery.
    • Act as liaisons between ships' captains and shore personnel in order to ensure that schedules and budgets are maintained, and that ships are operated safely and efficiently.
    • Check, test, and maintain automatic controls and alarm systems.
    • Maintain records of engineering department activities, including expense records and details of equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Perform monitoring activities in order to ensure that ships comply with international regulations and standards for life saving equipment and pollution preventatives.
    • Prepare plans, estimates, design and construction schedules, and contract specifications, including any special provisions.
    • Schedule machine overhauls and the servicing of electrical, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, water, and sewage systems.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marine or Civil Engineering or related Engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

    Additional Skills in Addition to Job Description:

    • STCW Certifications
    • Dangerous cargo endorsement
    • Previous experience with crude oil or LNG tankers

    Scope of Work specific to this Assignment:

    • Reporting to the Marine Supervisor.
    • The marine engineer III will function primarily as marine cargo operator & terminal lead onboard Erha FPSO. Loading and discharging of crude from FPSO to tankers. Carry out planned maintenance on marine equipment and auxiliaries.
    • Responsible for coordination and execution of cargo export documentation

    Production Engineer / Specialist I

    Main Functions

    • Engineers contributing primarily to the Production stage of operation, while sharing Production knowledge to support asset development and technology commercialization.

    Sphere of Influence:

    • Internal: Immediate work group and interfaces from other disciplines
    • External: Work effectively with partners and contractors in pursuit of efforts on the projects and assets they support. Participate in industry conferences that align with the individual's skills and business focus.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Support project development from concept selection through commissioning and startup and/or all phases of asset operational life through asset sale or decommissioning.
    • Apply understanding of oil and gas producing operations, and teamwork, communication and presentation skills to develop and deliver cost effective technical support within your discipline.
    • Primary contributions will be at the individual contributor level in skill areas specific to the individual's current and primary job families.
    • Document completed efforts such that others can leverage their work to enable efficient future similar efforts. Identify opportunities to improve work processes.
    • Leads production optimization efforts focused on maximizing asset value through integrated production surveillance and optimization
    • Develops and secures alignment for near term production activities and volumes plan
    • Coordinates and prioritizes data gathering, maintenance, lifting, enhancement, commissioning, etc. on the production schedule and integrates into volumes outlook
    • Work across functional boundaries, responsible for understanding and testing changing field constraints from the sand face to the sales point to optimize profitable production.
    • Engage daily with operations and technical teams with frequent field visits
    • Provide specialized support to client group
    • Continuously improves effectiveness and utility of key existing work processes, tools, and models in order to maximize the organization’s efficiency and productivity
    • Apply understanding of the business, teamwork, communication and presentation skills to develop and deliver cost effective technical support to the assets.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience
    • Expected to have a broad skill set and considered proficient in the following skill areas: Wellbore Hydraulics, Well Performance, Completion Design, Workover Design, Fluid Flow & Hydraulics, Operations Support and Surveillance, and Artificial Lift.
    • Closely related professional experience
    • Broad and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
