The Deal Advisory practice is a dedicated team of financial advisers with in-depth industry experience across our service offerings. The team provides end-to-end advisory solutions, helping our clients anticipate what is next and de-risk decisions relating to sell-side and buy-side transactions, financial restructuring, value enhancement, funding, and partnering.     Responsibilities:

    • Manage engagements related to the creation and implementation of deal advisory services in private equity and corporate environments in the financial services, consumer/retail, energy and infrastructure and telecoms, media & technology sectors.
    • Support proposal and business development activities by leveraging relationships and working with the team to convert opportunities.
    • Lead deliveryof projects including financial analysis and report writing.
    • Drive the development and presentation of finalproject deliverables.
    • Manage the quality of engagements and the development of staff.

    Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

    • KPMG is currently seeking an M&E Specialist for its International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) practice. KPMG IDAS is a dedicated practice that works with clients to address challenges faced by the global development community; working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), philanthropic foundations, development agencies, multilateral development banks (MDBs), and other international entities on a variety of projects.
    • IDAS manages and delivers programmes and projects throughout West Africa to ensure consistency of delivery, results, and impact. IDAS focuses on a range of sectors including agribusiness; climate change, renewable energy and environment; health and human services; youth and entrepreneurship; trade and investment; social development and inclusion; and inclusive and innovative finance.

    Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in development studies, economics, statistics, public health, social sciences or related field.
    • Minimum of Second Class (Upper) division in a development related discipline – social sciences, accounting, economics, public health, etc. from a reputable university.
    • Minimum of five O ’Level credits in one sitting, including English language and Mathematics.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive work experience in the development or humanitarian sector, delivering projects in the international development sector for bilateral and multilateral development institutions, preferably in Nigeria.
    • Proven experience with USAID, FCDO, EU, UN or World Bank funded programs is an asset.
    • Experience in leading the design, implementation and coordination of M&E systems to track project progress and measure impact.
    • Strong understanding of results-based management, theory of change, and gender-sensitive M&E.
    • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, Power BI, KoboToolbox, or Excel).
    • Experience in writing grant proposals and making presentations.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Appetite for learning new skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
    • Strong consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
    • Bilingual skills (French will be an added advantage)
    • High initiative and leadership.
    • Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
