    About the job

    • To handle and report to Director Operations on all aspects of Operations function, while maintaining a high level of service to customers, measuring and monitoring vendor and staff performance and controlling overall operational costs. Demonstrates customer focus, individual development, efficiency, collaboration, and recommends/implements process improvements. Upholds and ensures that all Hapag-Lloyd policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
    • Deliver top performance within Hapag-Lloyd’d organizational structure and process, as it pertains to Port Operations, Equipment, Transport Dispatch and Maintenance & Repair functions
    • Monthly reporting follow up for all Countries in the area
    • Longstanding follow-up - Focus on Empties, FIFO
    • Monthly Cost report analysis . Determine focus areas and drivers to reduce CpT and CpB
    • Support for Day-to-Day operations at the Country level. Maintain communication with local managers, providing, and disseminating updated information regarding Hapag-Lloyd policies and procedures.

    Coordinator Sales Execution, Onne

    About the job

    • Sales Execution deals directly with customers aiming to develop, secure and maintain the most profitable business for Hapag-Lloyd in accordance with the company’s objectives. The purpose of Sales Execution is to produce optimum contributions for Hapag-Lloyd by maintaining and enhancing Hapag-Lloyd’s customer’s base through offering products that satisfy customers’ needs including our newest Inland and Logistics solutions.     Inland Coordinator

    About the job

    • To coordinate and monitor inland transportation activities from booking through final delivery, ensuring accurate processing of bookings, shipment and location updates, work orders, vendor assignments, container movements and invoices in the relevant systems. The position serves as a key link between customers, vendors, operations, Customer Service, Area teams, terminals and Finance, supporting timely resolution of shipment discrepancies, additional-cost matters and operational exceptions while ensuring reliable service delivery, vendor performance and compliance with Hapag-Lloyd processes.
    • Process online and manual bookings

    Area Manager Human Resources

    • To secure high level of employee experience through Human Resources excellent delivery of HR duties and assist the Head of HR with the administration of company policies, programs and practices that contribute to the HR and business wide strategic direction of the Area. As a manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing employees with guidance and apply comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures to resolve complex issues, design and execute processes or to build consensus.
    • Suggest new processes, procedures, and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR organization in the Area and enhance the employee experience.
    • Regularly train Country HR Coordinators to secure streamlined adherence, roll-out and implementation of existing and new HR processes, procedures, and policies for a consistent employee experience across the Area.
    • Participate in the execution of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, expat administration, payroll, weekly HR dashboard, workforce planning and budgeting, performance management and GSD, talent management, reward and recognition, absence and leave admin, learning and development, QEM, Company Values, employee engagement & EES action planning/execution), including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing Area and country requirements.
    • Ensure accuracy of data inputs received from country level and interrogates the same towards providing analysis, trends, and reports that support decision making and development of solutions, programs, and policies at Area level.
    • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to Country HR Coordinators in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
    • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and supports the adoption of best practice in HR whilst ensuring full compliance with corporate and local rules and regulations.
    • Ensure legal compliance of HR to country regulations and applicable employment laws and participates in the
    • updating of policies and/or procedures as required.
    • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbooks, employee directory, and organizational charts.
    • Assist in the administering of benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
    • Assist with annual updates to the compensation program, rewrites job descriptions as necessary, assists with annual salary reviews, analyses compensation, executes the performance review process and supports with the other talent management duties as required.
    • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including updates to employee information and files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes.

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years’ experience as a HR generalist with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership position
    • Experience working in a large matrix organization
    • HR certification is an asset
    • Bilingual English – French. Portuguese skills will be a plus.
