    Manager, Non-Commodity Procurement

    Job Description
    Manages all aspects of non-commodity procurement, from sourcing to delivery. This includes:

    • Supplier Management: Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and capability.
    • Strategic Sourcing: Developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and identifying alternative sources to achieve productivity gains and cost savings.
    • Operational Oversight: Overseeing contract implementation, resolving operational issues, and managing budgets and forecasts.
    • Compliance: Ensuring all procurement policies and import/export regulations are followed.

    Strategic Effectiveness

    • Contribute to the design and implementation of the procurement process road map, as well as managing the procurement and supply chain strategy for the product(s), within the country
    • Will demonstrate sound judgement within defined practices and policies and select techniques for obtaining solutions that will contribute to future results and successes
    • Strong financial acumen, ability to read and comprehend tasks such as counterparty and credit risk management
    • You will be responsible for the optimal utilization of country resources
    • Support implementation of required infrastructure as per the business plan and derive maximum capacity efficiencies by eliminating controllable losses
    • Manage the primary/secondary procurement
    • Ability to build teams - hiring, training, and developing team members
    • Collaborate with key stake holders involving formal business reviews and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Engineering Degree is required.
    • Master’s or MBA degree in fields such as business administration, finance, is preferred.
    • Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification.
    • Should have passed engineering +MBA preferred from a good institute and have 5-7 years experience in handling end to end procurement in a mass manufacturing company.
    • Good Hands-on Contract Management.
    • Experience in direct procurement of general and consumable Items, (MRO Items), AGO, packaging material and asset purchases.
    • Spend analysis.
    • High competency level in SAP MM, SAP Ariba.
    • Well Versed with process of EXIM Certification & documentation process.

    Job Description

    • As a SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our financial systems through SAP, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational efficiency.
    • This role demands strong functional expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.

    Key Deliverables

    • Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and principles.

    • Solid understanding of key integration points with FI/CO modules: FI-MM, FI-SD, CO-PP, FI-CO.

    Requirements

    • 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP.
    • Must have completed at least two full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementations.

    • As an IT Application Support Specialist - SAP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems, supporting business operations across Nigeria.

    • Proficient in SAP modules: PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and MM (Materials Management).

    • Drive and manage medium-to-large scale SAP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
    • Analyze and interpret data to generate insightful management reports for informed decision-making.
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
    • Champion continuous improvement in application support processes.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP applications.
    • Proven experience in managing Level 1 application support within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with a keen aptitude for data analysis and management reporting.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing IT projects, particularly within SAP.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Exposure to Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools is a plus.
    • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
