    Loan Officer / Relationship Officer

    Location: Ayobo, Ikotun, Ikorodu, Lagos

    Job Description

    • To sell all bank products to the specified target customers/segments and meet monthly sales targets.
    • To contact potential customers and convince them about the bank’s product offerings.
    • Major accountability for a Relationship Officer is to ensure that business is solicited as per the bank’s guidelines/process.
    • To ensure that prospects are clearly communicated about the bank charges/terms and conditions.
    • To ensure “Know Your Customer” requirements as prescribed by the bank are duly adhered to.
    • Data confidentiality and secrecy norms of the bank are adhered to.
    • To ensure that no customer application is misplaced and is kept in safe custody.
    • To ensure that code of the conduct as per the bank’s policy is adhered to.
    • To ensure that all the documents provided by the customer for completing the card applications are duly checked and forwarded to the relevant bank officers.
    • To ensure that I do the document's original sighting as laid out in the original sighting guidelines of the KYC policy of the bank.
    • Verify that potential customers satisfy all criteria required of the desired customer profile as outlined by the bank.
    • Maintain accurately and up to date activity records.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / OND / NCE qualification
    • 0 - 2 years of work experience.

    Salary

    • N55,000 monthly.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Degree in Management, Marketing, Communication or a similar field.
    • 3 - 5 years work experience.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • A background in customer service or sales is a plus.
    • Must understand customer relationship management (CRM).
    • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.
    • Ability to work well with others and lead a team.
    • Knowledge of math and numbers.
    • Attentive to detail and organized.
    • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several jobs at one time.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    Internal Control Officer

    Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Daily check of call over of all books of account to ensure that is free from all errors
    • Reconciliation of cash book and cash collateral (security deposit) GL on bank one.
    • Reconciliation of passbook, collection sheet and bank one
    • Reconciliation of HMOs with loans disbursed
    • Reconciliation of loan disbursed on bank one and loan withdrew ( GL )
    • Ensure compliance with all the bank’s operational policies
    • Daily check of cash book and verification of all branch expenses
    • Preparation of Compliance and Internal Control Reports
    • Checking of loan forms and verification of clients' details after disbursement
    • Pay a random visit to the client site for account reconciliation
    • Daily review of petty cash book
    • Ensure daily treatment of any exceptions on branch operational activities
    • Ensure quality portfolio management including but not limited to group visitation, monthly branch audit ROs portfolio, loan appraisal reviews and loan monitoring.
    • Regular review of the Branch’s Portfolio at Risk (PAR) in conformity with the bank’s policies (PAR≤3%).
    • Monitor the bank’s assets and identify any obsolete or idle assets for efficient disposal as may be required.
    • Conduct physical verification of Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE) and monitor its disposal.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned by the Head, Internal Control and Audit.

    Requirements

    Salary

    • N60,000 monthly.
