    Liquidity Accountant

    Job Purpose

    • We are currently seeking an adaptable, smart and experienced Liquidity Accountant to oversee all aspects of day-to-day transactions of our business.
    • Also ensure performance of duties, utilizing efficient operations and standard operating procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The primary responsibility of the Liquidity Accountant is to check daily bank balances.
    • The Liquidity Accountant is responsible for cash sales confirmation.
    • Handles bank posting on Sage.
    • Relates with sites on film hire, sales (Cash and POS), same from banks and all tax related issues.
    • Sends bank statements from time to time as well as relating with Auditors on any required documents/correspondence.
    • Handles Office expenses (petty and major).
    • Fills annual returns (LIRS & other sites, coordinate the sites)
    • Provides Monthly sales report on the first of every month.
    • Conducts Analysis, reports, and invoices.
    • Maintains complete and accurate record-keeping
    • Ensures resolution of differences
    • Liaises between front-end system owners and General Accounting team
    • Reviews journal entries and compile account reconciliations
    • Supports period end and close processes.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
    • 2-3 years relevant experience in the field
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Strong Analytical, communication and computer skills
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes
    • Must be a good Team player with excellent ability to multi-tasking and able to adapt to varying situations.

    Film Booking / Film Distribution Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Liaise with film distributors and Business managers to book and confirm movies for all Genesis Cinema locations
    • Review schedules and timesheet from all locations and ensure proper scheduling for all titles on weekly basis.
    • Negotiate every title exhibition and Follow up on invoices sent from film distributors.
    • Review and booking sheet sent in by film distributor
    • Confirm Status of all annual regulatory fee for all sites
    • Collate weekly box office reports for all site and report same to Senior operation managers and Executive Director
    • Ensures all location get all necessary publicity material a week before movie release.
    • To undertake and perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree with 2 - 4 years’ work experience.

    Accounts Payable Officer

    Job Purpose

    • We are currently seeking an adaptable, smart and experienced Account Payable to oversee all aspects of day-to-day transactions of our business, financial, administrative and clerical support of a company.
    • Also ensure payments owed by the company to suppliers and other creditors, paying vendor invoices or bills, and recording the company's short-term debts.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The primary responsibility of the Account Payable is to consolidate, Co-ordinate & Ensure Accurate Ledgers are maintained for All Payables
    • Reconciles Invoices received from Film Distributors and prepare for payment.
    • Maintains Accurate & Reconciled Statement of Account for All Film Distributors
    • Maintains a good accounting system with adequate internal controls & compliance with approved accounting & controls manuals.
    • Maintains Proper Filling, Security & Control of all Source Documents relating to Payables.
    • Ensures Timely Statutory Remittance of VAT, Pension, PAYE, Consumption and WHT in line with Statutes on monthly basis with filed evidence.
    • Prepare & submit for Approval, Financial Plan using the approved format within the given timeline.
    • Efficient management of All Payables and ensures that all business obligations are settled as at when due.
    • Ensure All payments follow due process and are properly approved before payment.
    • Provides evidence of logical prioritizing of expenditures to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Keeps cost within and below budget while consistently optimizing cost.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
    • 2 - 3 years relevant experience in the field

    Business Developer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by the company and meet sales target.
    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling / direct contact, networking and social media.
    • Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
    • Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
    • Craft business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
    • Set-up meetings with potential clients and negotiate to secure the most attractive prices.
    • Create frequent reviews and update reports on sales and financial data for management’s review
    • Remain in tune with trends in consumption to ensure the company’s offerings remain relevant.
    • Frequently provide clients' feedback to management for informed decision on implementation of changes where necessary.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related course of study.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry or retail business.
    • Demonstrable experience working with a marketing team.

    Media Relations Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Leading in the developing, implementing and measuring external and internal Media based communication plans.
    • Manage day-to-day media relations/media requests for brand and corporate issues.
    • Create a revised media crisis management plan for National and Club use
    • Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts in a timely manner to determine appropriate media responses via various channels.
    • Develop written materials including press releases, Q&A, media standby statements on brand and corporate issues as required.
    • Build relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities to proactively pitch brand and corporate stories through social media outlets as appropriate.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of Brand PR programs to support brand building initiatives/innovation/corporate promotions.
    • Help oversee program execution from kick off through to completion.
    • Provide guidance and direction to PR agency partners and review all Brand PR materials to ensure communication is accurate, relevant and consistent with Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada's brand and overall corporate messaging and positions.
    • Provide guidance to ensure coordination and communication of messages/news to both internal and external audiences.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of media programs and communicate results back to business.
    • Develop and implement online communications strategy ensuring alignment with internal communications strategy and that it includes day-to-day content development strategy and functional enhancements.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in journalism, Mass Communication, PR, marketing or related field.
    • Experience handling a press conference.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to pitch to media.
    • Knowledge of consumer marketing.
    • An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks.

    Stock Controller

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure 100% accuracy of stock.
    • Ensure adherence to local purchase budget and improve efficiency in invoice verification.
    • Daily update and monitoring of daily stock issuance in adherence to stipulated budget.
    • Ensure 100% capturing of all stock items (countable, charge back items) using weekly/monthly performance.
    • Achieve 100% accuracy in sales and COS capture as compared with accounts by 1st of each month.
    • Zero tolerance to stock out and expired items.
    • Ensure stock accuracy and accountability by comparing physical stock balances and software stock balances by month end.
    • Achieve 95% resolution of customer complaints within 48 hours - Review weekly by checklist method.
    • Achieve 90% internal customer and client feedback score.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Economics or a related field.
    • 1 - 3 years work experience.
    • Relevant experience in the field
    • Strong Analytical, communication and computer skills
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Understanding of mathematics, accounting and financial processes
    • Must be a good Team player with excellent ability to multi-tasking and able to adapt to varying situations.
