    Lifting Specialist

    JOB SUMMARY

    •  He is responsible for assuring safe and controlled Rigging and Lifting operations within his field of competence.
    •  He ensures that Rigging and Lifting operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on SITE by CONTRACTOR. 
    • He guarantees a good level of availability of the rigging/lifting equipment he is responsible for on production SITES. 
    • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  OPERATIONS 

    • Organizes on site the Rigging & Lifting operations which are placed under his responsibility, 
    • Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and execution of all Rigging and Lifting works. 
    • With his team assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC), 
    • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of Rigging and lifting operations placed under his responsibility. Assists the Inspection Superintendent with the control of Rigging Certification ensuring all rigging and Lifting equipment onboard the FPSO and Field is duly certified, colour coded and fit for purpose. He has the duty and authority to quarantine any equipment he deems unsafe for use until reviewed by specialist or replaced. 
    • Maintains all rigging equipment in the rigging store and all rigging database facilities used, monitoring the competence of all personnel using rigging and lifting equipment, 
    • Assists the Warehouse Supervisor in the control and handling of special lifting equipment, 
    • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his team and actively participates in this himself, leading others by his example, 
    • Assists specialists and ensures the successful completion of all routine 6 Monthly Lifting Equipment surveys and ensures all equipment not inspected or colour coded is quarantined, 
    • Manages and Coaches/Mentors the team of technician/s directly under his responsibility, 
    • Is a member of the SITE emergency team, 
    • Carries out, at CONTRACTOR’s site representative’s request, any intervention within his field of competence. 

    METHODS 

    • Identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance &/or Inspection works, any delicate lifting/rigging operations and ensures that proper risk assessment studies are carried out beforehand, 
    • Compiles and maintains a comprehensive database for EGINA lifting plans and lifting risk assessments for recall and re-use when required, 
    • Identifies recurrent equipment lifting/rigging problems, analyses them and suggests improvements to direct supervision, 
    • Warns support and planning teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of special rigging or lifting equipment, 
    • Keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of responsibility and suggests corrective measures to COMPANY and CONTRACTOR if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable, suggests improvements and requests modifications. 

    QUALITY ASSURANCE 

    • Verifies the quality of his teams’ interventions by frequent on-site checks and final checks prior to hand-back of large, critical or high integrity equipment to production after maintenance activity. 
    • Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures 

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT  

    • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent 
    • 5 to10 years’ experience in the field of lifting & Rigging operations on oil and gas production installations, 
    • LOLAR lifting Certificates 
    • NVQ in Rigging and lifting Experience is preferred. 
    • Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS: SAP/R3, LOLAR lifting plans, Risk Assessment techniques, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    HSE Preparator / Technician

    JOB SUMMARY 

    • The HSE Preparator/Technician is the maintenance safety equipment preparator and technician tasked with the responsibility of executing the job offshore.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    •  Is responsible for all maintenance activities that have to do with Safety equipment (life rafts, life buoys, life jackets, smoke hoods, fire extinguishers, safety showers and eye wash stations, fire monitors, Oil Spill equipment, and containers, personnel frog, scramble nets, Fast Rescue and escape boats, fire hydrants, etc.) 
    • Proposes work program and prepares scopes of work for all safety equipment 
    • Takes leadership to carry out all the work preparation for Safety equipment, including the work pack, PTW, SAP Work 
    • Order preparation, JRA, Procedures, Work Plan, Site Kick Off Meeting, etc in order to ensure proper execution of 
    • Safety equipment Maintenance Campaigns. 
    • Takes charge of and ensures the accuracy of detailed technical elements of the preparation phase of Safety equipment campaigns: Review procedures and ensure adaptability; Reviews functional Locations and related WO lists to ensure that all outstanding works in the concerned equipment are fully taken into account during the preparation of each intervention; Ensures that PTWs are properly prepared, validated, and ready ahead of mobilization deadlines. 
    • Ensures that Campaign Preparatory activities are carried out in accordance with the existing CR’s, GS and GM’s, and ensures complete adherence to all HSE requirements at all times 
    • Is in charge and acts as the Performing Authority (PA) to lead the execution of all maintenance campaigns on all safety equipment on site, ensuring the required site repairs, checks, and site recertification. 
    • Follows up on the Campaign works at the implementation stage to completion: Ensures that Daily Reports are issued for all campaigns ongoing on site for safety equipment, each campaign having a Planned and an Execution S-Curve, and with highlights of Work Completed as well as the plan for the next day. 
    • Follows up and ensures physical supervision of all contractor activities involving repairs and recertification of safety equipment belonging to the company, with the objective to ensure respect of company and regulatory standards and prompt delivery. 
    • Issues daily and job completion reports as required for all vendor activities to inform all concerned persons of the progress of the activities. 
    • Liaises with the company Safety Equipment Technical authority to manage the Egina Safety Equipment database, ensuring that it is updated as at when due and that equipment recertification programs are planned on time. 
    •  Consults with Original Equipment Manufacturers to investigate maintenance issues pertaining to Safety equipment and finds a suitable solution, and communicates the same to the site. Liaises with DW HSE department, Production department, and OSL team whenever necessary on all subjects related to Safety equipment. 
    • Supports the Egina Preparation Team Leader and other Preparation Engineers to manage any other activity that is within the scope of the team 
    • Within the framework of DW FOPS, in the field of Maintenance, the main objectives for the job holder are to: 
    • Perform proper works coordination, activities reporting, and equipment condition analysis, in view of maintaining and optimizing the operations and the equipment performance. 
    • Participate in the preparation and reporting for Maintenance entity activities, including issuance of dashboards and reports 
    • Ensure the issuance and optimization of the Maintenance entity Plans and Practices in view of budget control, production optimization, and HSE best performance. 
    • Control and administer the technical and administrative documentation within the Maintenance entity, including engineering and vendor technical documentation, and ensure the update of CMIMS, EDMS, and servers. 
    • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment registers are kept up-to-date and that maintenance records are validated at the proper level, properly reported, recorded, and maintained in the dedicated databases. 
    • Ensure that equipment availability and reliability are at their optimum. 
    • Ensure consistency of the methods used by the various maintenance disciplines. 
    • Responsible for initiating, controlling, and validating the studies aiming at equipment optimization. 
    • Ensure that the specifications for repair, modifications, and materials comply with the relevant regulations, company rules, technical codes, standards, and norms. 

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT  

    •  Education: BSc/BEng in Engineering. 
    • Professional Certification: CITB STS, OHSAS 18001 or equivalent. 
    • Professional experience: 10 years in Oil & Gas environment 
    • 5 years’ experience in Safety Equipment Maintenance 
    • Experience in maintenance support and especially in field maintenance capacity 
    • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel and project) 
    • Good knowledge of planning tools, and of CMIMS tools (preferably SAP-based)

    Preparation Team Lead

    JOB SUMMARY

    •  He is responsible for the accurate preparation and planning in CMIMS of all Preventive Maintenance and inspection activities. 
    • He ensures all work loadings are manageable with the resources available. 
    • He ensures accurate and timely supply and return of Materials for use and subsequent repair, with close liaison with the onshore methods team. 
    • He ensures accurate support to the planning function on the FPSO. 
    • He maintains the accuracy of the CMIMS database with COMPANY validation on changes. 
    • He Coaches and Mentors the Methods Engineers and Technicians in the CMIMS activity. 
    • He provides to COMPANY all Maintenance and Inspection Statistical reporting. 
    • He monitors discipline backlogs and highlights problems to the COMPANY. 
    • Assists COMPANY in the generation of the Maintenance annual work-plan and Budget. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

    OPERATIONS 

    • Prepares onshore the CMIMS maintenance and inspection medium-term and longer-term planning, 
    • Plans maintenance operations (routine and short-term) 
    • Maintains the CMIMS database with COMPANY validation. 
    • Ensures discipline workloads are balanced over the year, 
    • Provides direct input into COMPANY longer-term planning for Maintenance activities. 
    • Provides direct support and coordination of Preventive Maintenance and Inspection activity with the Offshore Methods team and specifically the Offshore Planning Engineer. 
    • Assists the Methods team onshore with the Coordination and expediting of all equipment repairs. 
    • Coordinates the control and update of CMIMS master-data with COMPANY validation and assists the offshore Methods team and Offshore Planning Engineer with this activity, 
    • Actions ad-hoc reports from CMIMS as required by COMPANY, Monitors historical maintenance and inspection data quality and advises COMPANY of any anomalies. 
    • Compiles the Maintenance & Inspection performance reporting for COMPANY review. Accurately monitors Discipline backlogs (Maintenance and Inspection) and provides monthly reports to COMPANY. 

    METHODS 

    • Ensures all Work (Preventive) is accurately resourced and that all materials and services are identified and pre-planned in 
    • CMIMS for execution at site and work location. Conducts reviews in CMIMS to ensure Preventive Maintenance and Inspection workloads are balanced over the year and provides advice and proposals to COMPANY for any CMIMS modification. 
    • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements, warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts. 
    • Keeps track of any backlog of work and suggests corrective measures to the Onshore COMPANY methods Engineers if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable. 
    • Develops and provides all medium and long-term planning for the FPSO activities. 
    • Provides any ad-hoc reports from CMIMS as directed by COMPANY. 
    • Accurately controls (with COMPANY validation) the CMIMS master data. 
    • Ensures, through the use of CMIMS and his team, the coordination, mobilisation, and planning of all required Vendors (e.g. Contractors own subcontractors or COMPANY SMC’s) 

    QUALITY ASSURANCE 

    • Verifies the quality of AKPO & EGINA planning by frequent checks of supervisor reports in CMIMS, 
    • Ensures all work loadings per discipline are balanced and achievable, and highlights immediately to COMPANY any workload which is unachievable with the resources provided onboard. 
    • Coaches and ensures that the onshore Methods Technicians have the correct CMIMS skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures to COMPANY. 
    • Ensures all Work Orders and Notifications in CMIMS are tracked accurately and COMPANY requirements for CMIMS control followed. 
    • Ensures that all CMIMS reports and Maintenance and Inspection performance reports are accurate. 

     EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 

    • The holder of this post must have the following qualifications: 
    • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent

    Mechanical Maintenance Lead

    Job Summary

    • The Mechanical Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all mechanical systems within the power plant through effective maintenance strategies, team leadership, and vendor management.
    • The role drives high equipment availability, compliance with QHSE standards, and continuous improvement in plant performance. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure mechanical systems reliability & availability by leading maintenance of all mechanical systems including Gas Turbines (GT), Balance of Plant (BOP), auxiliaries, etc
    • Optimize MTBF and MTTR through proactive and predictive maintenance practices
    • Oversee routine preventive & corrective maintenance planning and execution.
    • Review, approve, and implement maintenance designs, work scopes and method statements
    • Close all Trouble Memos within defined timelines
    • Manage third-party vendors and contractors in line with contractual obligations and technical standards
