This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Officer based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Legal Officer will be reporting to the Group Legal Counsel and responsible for providing legal advice and support across various business functions within the organization.
Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing contracts, and advising on issues related to business law and regulatory compliance.
The candidate will also provide legal consulting services to address challenges and opportunities that arise in the hospital's operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Business Law and general legal practices related to corporate environments
Expertise in Contract Law and Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and reviewing agreements
Proficiency in Legal Consulting with the ability to analyze complex situations and provide sound legal advice
Thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations and their application to compliance processes
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and professional qualification to practice law
Relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a similar regulated sector is an added advantage
