    Operations and Maintenance Manager

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • Provides leadership, guidance, and directional support in planning & scheduling (shutdown & routine maintenance).
    • Define the work method, activities, resources, materials, and logical sequence to execute shutdown and routine maintenance work.
    • Responsible for QA/QC and oversight of work being delivered by 3rd party contractor.
    • Effectively communicate across various levels of work force within and outside the company i.e. 3rd party contractor, working level teams and asset leadership.
    • Mentor and develop early graduate engineers and 3rd party contractor teams on shutdown and maintenance processes.
    • Lead the development and implementation of maintenance support work processes.
    • Bring continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes through KPI monitoring and utilizing experience.
    • Develop & lead capabilities in team for Lean Operations & Maintenance optimization.
    • Lead in Maintenance data analysis to create solution & support assets to improve maintenance efficiency.
    • Lead & coordinate in operational readiness of new assets.to provide leadership, guidance, and directional support in planning & scheduling (shutdown & routine maintenance).

    Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in ​mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering from a recognized university.
    • Minimum 8 years of work experience in oil and gas production or operations industry, experience in gas processing plant/project will be an added advantage.
    • Thorough technical knowledge of various oil & gas industry equipment and services to deliver maintenance work packages.
    • Knowledge in shutdown management system, CMMS work order management, master data management, load levelling, material management, , Primavera P6/MS Project for shutdown scheduling and KPIs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
    • Hands on experience in maintenance and shutdown execution, planning & scheduling in oil and gas industry.
    • Proficient in using various industry tools i.e. CMMS (SAP PM/MM or Maximo) for delivering planning & scheduling work.

    Soft Skills

    • Interface effectively with Operators, Mechanics, Vendors, Contractors, Management & other groups to meet business objectives.
    • Foster cooperation & collaboration among individuals in a work group.
    • Collaboratively work with multiple Gas processing groups (Health Environment and Safety, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance) to gain support and alignment.
    • Strong team player (i.e. capable of building strong and productive working relationships with all stakeholders)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Project Manager

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • Overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project delivery.
    • Identifying project requirements and coordinating development of Project Management System deliverables and reviews with top management.
    • Support and follow-up the permitting and Engineering team in local approvals and regulatory obligations
    • Manage projects construction with focus on safety, quality, budget and planning
    • Ensure proper projects commissioning and testing of the plant as per contractual requirements and industry good practice
    • Participating in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
    • Overseeing engineering, execution planning, procurement, systems completion, and start up.
    • Employing multiple skill sets to tackle the challenges that surface during a project's life cycle, including design, engineering, negotiation, contracting, project planning and execution.
    • Working with host governments, and contractors to safely build world-class facilities.
    • Ensure all onsite works are completed in line with bp’s OHS/HSSE safety policies and procedures.
    • Develop, monitor, and control critical project requirements.
    • Supervise project work, engineering assurance & contractor performance to ensure delivery of project outcomes.
    • Work closely with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered contractual requirements that meet safety and engineering standards.
    • Provide an execution strategy that has a clear design, operating strategy, and scope for project.
    • Be the key contact for external entities such as business partners, government authorities and regulators.

    Required Qualifications

    Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in project management/Construction Management/Engineering.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in project development, project management, commercial construction, design/build management, electrical construction, or a combination thereof and commissioning/startup support in oil and gas industry, experience in gas processing plant/project will be an added advantage.
    • At least 5 years of Gas processing facilities experience is required.
    • Ability to mitigate risk through analysis and contingency planning.

    Soft Skills

    • Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
    • Ability to represent Company’s interests in a constructive and professional manner during interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong team player (i.e. capable of building strong and productive working relationships with all stakeholders).

    Instrumentation Engineer

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • Providing engineering and support for Distributed Control System (DCS), Process Control System (PCS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) in the plant. Maintains documentation of these systems, ensuring that all modifications are documented, and changes are routed through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
    • Assesses new instrumentation and control technologies to determine the right opportunities for their application.
    • Ensure application of suitable industry codes and standards as well as best practices in selection, construction, and usage of instrumentation/electrical equipment and process control systems.
    • Provide technical support related to instrumentation, process control, and electrical equipment and troubleshoot when issue goes beyond I&E Technician capability.
    • Develop alternatives and propose and implement solutions for long term reliability.
    • Carry out various studies to improve instrumentation/electrical system safety, reliability, and economics.
    • Integrate best practices into the work management process to support a fully deployed reliability program. Work management process includes preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, planning, scheduling, coordination and craft and equipment reliability feedback loops.
    • Assist in leading the use of the CMMS to support the maintenance work management and reliability processes including work documentation,
    • Assist in developing and reporting site metrics to track the continuous improvement processes.
    • Assist in determining, planning, and coordinating turnaround work scope.
    • Develop solutions for work procedures, equipment reliability, and precision work practices.
    • Perform root cause analysis, equipment reliability improvement and reactive work reduction strategies.
    • Use Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
    • Assist in design reviews from a Maintainability and Reliability perspective.
    • Evaluate new technologies and alternatives for equipment repair, seeking cost and delivery advantages.
    • Assist maintenance, engineering, and operations management as needed.

    Required Qualifications

     Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline required.
    • 8+ Years relevant experience in commissioning/startup support in an oil and gas industry, experience in gas processing plant/project will be an added advantage.            
    • Knowledge of field instrumentation & controls including sensors, transmitters, final control elements, process control systems, communication protocols and wiring methods.
    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving profile
    • Design instrument loops including selection & sizing of flow meters, control valves and other field instrumentation.
    • General knowledge of power generation, MV/LV distribution systems, and UPS and DC power systems.
    • Understanding of electrical protection for feeders, motors, transformers, and other equipment. Knowledge or experience with ASDs/VFDs
    • Identify actions to reach needed results. Seek input to solve problems. Persevere through barriers & find alternatives. Track progress & keep others informed.

    Soft Skills
