    Driver

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Practice safe driving habits
    • Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
    • Accurately follow routes, maps, and direction
    • Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
    • Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
    • Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed
    • Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

    • Demonstrate safe driving practices
    • Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS
    • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
    • Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines
    • Excellent communication and time management skills
    • Organized and able to follow a schedule

    • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    Cashier/Teller

    Job Responsibilities

    • Filling out paperwork/deposit and withdrawal slips
    • Supply clients with relevant information on products and services available in the bank
    • List all promotions and relay them to customers
    • Resolve customer issues pertaining to products and services
    • Recording transactions, which involves logging checks and preparing transaction reports
    • Counting and packaging currency
    • Reconciling cash drawers
    • Opening new accounts and helping with loan applications
    • Promoting the bank's products and services
    • Keeping customers' personal information confidential
    • Balancing numbers at the end of the business day

    Requirement

    • Sufficient clerical, bookkeeping, and administrative cash handling experience
    • Previous work experience as a Cashier/Teller in the banking sector will be an advantage
    • OND/NCE in relevant courses.
    • Ability to maintain a balance of large bulk of currency constantly
    • Ability to maintain confidential information, thereby safeguarding the bank’s integrity
    • Ability to execute assigned duties effectively by proper understanding of both verbal and written directives
    • Ability to tolerate stress
    • Adequate customer service orientation and experience.
    • Must have integrity and be trustworthy
    • Should have written and verbal communication skills; Organization skills; Time-management skills; Teamwork skills; Multitasking skills etc.
    • The ability to process transactions quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
    • Computer literacy.

    Credit/Loan Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Review loan requests
    • Assess clients’ financial status
    • Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
    • Interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
    • Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
    • Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests
    • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
    • Calculate financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)
    • Set up payment plans
    • Maintain updated records of loan applications
    • Follow up with clients about loan renewals
    • Monitor progress of existing loans Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
    • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas

    Requirements

    • Proven work experience as a Credit Officer/Loan Officer or similar role in the banking sector especially in a microfinance bank (with a minimum of 3 years of work experience).
    • Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
    • Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software or ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
    • Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
    • Ability to work in a goal oriented environment
    • Strong analytical skills
    • BSc/HND in Banking and Finance, Economics or related field

    Head, Credit/Marketing

    Job Description

    • Oversee the articulation and execution of the Bank’s marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy, goals and objectives.
    • Provide guidance, leadership support and direction to the Marketing team.
    • Build the Bank’s profile and brand image in the market through sustained campaigns.
    • Develop and manage strategic relationships with key customers in relevant market segments.
    • Lead the Bank’s deposit mobilization efforts and ensure quality risks assets are created.
    • Coordinate the deployment of effective market penetration and market share acquisition frameworks.
    • Oversee the collation of market business intelligence to support effective decision-making.
    • Champion the development and establishment of the effective channel strategies to support the Bank’s marketing efforts.
    • Champion periodic planning and budget review sessions, monitor implementation and performance and ensure development of effective strategies to address shortfall in targets.
    • Champion the drive to increase the Bank’s market share by promoting and institutionalizing a customer service-oriented culture.
    • Monitor changing market dynamics and adapt product offering to effectively meet these needs.
    • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Management.

    Requirements

    • Candidate must possess minimum of B.Sc./HND in Marketing or any related field, and any relevant professional certification will be an advantage
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience; 3 of which must be on the job role.
    • Broad and in-depth knowledge of Microfinance Banking.
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing principles – advertising, brand management, market/ sector targeting, product development etc.
    • Good understanding of micro and macro-economic indices and their impact on small businesses.
    • Strong people management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
    • Well-developed communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
