    Senior Medical Officer

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Reports to: Medical Administrator

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • This role is responsible for coordinating medical and medical administrative duties in our Ikoyi facility.
    • Coordinate the duties of the medical officers, ensuring that patient care and management is optimal and is in adherence to the clinical guidelines.
    • Liaising with consultants on patients' medical condition and refer specialist cases to appropriate specialist clinics.
    • Perform medical administrative duties such as liaising with corporate clients and HMOs for authorization and approval for major procedures.
    • Supervisory and managerial cover for medical officers and planning duty schedules.
    • Write and review medical reports as required.
    • Oversee pre-employment examinations and write medical reports when required.
    • Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation of patients' encounters.
    • Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients' grievances.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Medical Administrator.

    Job Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in the Medical / Clinical field (MBBS).
    • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with a valid medical practicing license.
    • 4-6 years clinical experience with 1-2 years in a team leadership role.
    • Post graduate degree in Business Administration / Public Administration / Public Health/ healthcare administration will be an added advantage.
    • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with a valid medical practicing license.
    • Certifications/Trainings in customer service, relationship management, and business analysis are desired.

    Core Competencies:

    • Basic Life Support skills and sound medical knowledge
    • Excellent documentation skills with IT skills required for the use of EMR and Microsoft Office packages.

    Dialysis Technician

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Reports to: Matron in charge and Consultant Nephrologist

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • This role is responsible for assembling & maintaining dialysis machines, and monitoring patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
    • Set up and operate hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment for patients with Kidney failure
    • Mix dialysate, according to formula.
    • Explain dialysis procedure and operation of hemodialysis machine to patients before treatment to allay anxieties
    • Monitor and adjust patient fluid removal rates as required
    • Work in tandem with nurses and doctors
    • Ensure sterilization of operating equipment before use
    • Respond to emergency scenarios
    • Attend to patient needs
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications

    • 3-5 years experience working as a dialysis/renal technician in a reputable hospital
    • Degree / Certification in Biomedical Engineering / Technology.
    • Training/Certification in Hemodialysis studies or Nephrology.

    Matron

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
    Employment Type: Full-time
    Reports to: Chief Matron and Consultants in charge
    Supervises: Nursing sisters, Staff Nurses and Ward assistants

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of Nursing staff towards restoring and sustaining patient's wellbeing. This role is available in our Ikoyi facility.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Coordination and supervision of the activities of nurses and nurse assistants.
    • Oversee admission and discharge of patients in the wards.
    • Performing procedures such as taking of medical histories & vital signs with necessary follow up wound dressing, administering medications and providing other assistance needed.
    • Responsible for performance and discipline among the nursing staff.
    • Ensuring reduction in customer/patient complaints
    • Ensuring adequate documentation and maintenance of patient’s records.
    • Providing information and health education to patients and their attendants
    • Maintaining ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality
    • Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances
    • Training and mentoring of new nurses
    • Comply with the use of Standard Operating Procedures and policies / adherence to quality standards.
