    Credit & Marketing Officer

    Reports To: Head, Credit & Marketing / Business Development / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
    Salary: N300k
    Job Location: Victoria Island

    Job Summary:

    The Credit and Marketing Officer is responsible for driving business growth through effective marketing and credit operations. This includes building and managing client relationships, executing credit assessments, growing the company’s loan portfolio, and ensuring excellent customer experience. The role is central to increasing revenue through the sale of financial products and managing risk assets in accordance with the company’s policies.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Business Development & Client Engagement:

    • Proactively acquire and manage new and existing clients to grow loan and deposit portfolios.
    • Conduct business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Develop tailored financial solutions based on client needs and business models.
    • Prepare and present proposals, marketing pitches, and client onboarding documentation.
    • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

    Credit Operations:

    • Conduct preliminary credit screening and risk assessments for loan applicants.
    • Ensure facility requests meets the company’s target market definition and credit criteria.
    • Liaise with internal departments to process credit applications promptly.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for all credit transactions in line with policy.

    Portfolio and Risk Management:

    • Identify early warning signs of potential delinquency and proactively engage clients.
    • Implement timely and strategic recovery actions for non-performing accounts.
    • Maintain a healthy loan portfolio aligned with risk management frameworks.
    • Collaborate with the risk team to ensure policy compliance and loan integrity.

    Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports, including call memos and sales pipelines.
    • Maintain up-to-date records on all clients and credit activities for audits and compliance.

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in financial product sales, credit analysis, or business development.
    • Strong knowledge of financial services, credit management, and lending practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to explain financial concepts to clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and research skills.
    • Proven track record in meeting sales and revenue targets.

    Account Officer (Inventory Management)

    Reports to: Senior Accountant 
    Salary: N300k

    Job Summary

    The Account Officer oversees inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking, timely ordering, and efficient reconciliation. This role conducts cycle counts, monitors stock levels, manages vendor relationships, reconciles inventory, and calculates inventory values. This role also analyzes inventory data, reduces inventory costs, and ensures compliance with the company’s standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Regularly generate and review pending purchase bills to ensure timely processing and order fulfillment. 
    • Export the purchase bill pending from Tally, sorting by product, location, and quality in Excel for clarity and reporting. 
    • Take note of re-order levels during sorting to proactively manage inventory and avoid stockouts.  
    • Monitor the status of complete, delivered, and shipping orders, ensuring that timely updates are communicated. 
    • Review all locations for pending stock lifts and ensure that all sales are posted accurately. 
    • Send instructions to the bank for the payment of goods, ensuring timely financial transactions. 
    • Accurately post all generated orders in Click-it and Tally to maintain updated inventory records. 
    • Reconcile Lafarge payments against purchases as recorded in Maseliz, ensuring financial accuracy. 
    • Conduct the same reconciliation processes for BUA and Dangote, maintaining consistent financial tracking. 
    • Check the status of all logons before the end of the day, ensuring completed logons are posted accurately.
    • Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting stock levels, pending orders, and any discrepancies. 
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in stock management. 
    • Perform any other duties as directed by the Senior Accountant and the MD.

    Academic Qualifications/Skills 

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory management. 
    • Understanding of Inventory Control processes and procedures. 
    • Proficiency in Tally, Click-it, Excel, and other accounting software.
    • Strong data analysis skills for inventory tracking and reporting. 
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, banks, and internal teams.
