    Inspection Methods Engineer

    Job Description

    • Prepare inspection programs for long term planning
    • Perform FAME+ analyses and re assessment as needed
    • Prepare Written Scheme of Examination as generally required for all facilities
    • Update SAP plans as required
    • Under instruction from the Head of Inspection, prepare Scope of works for approved work programmes ensuring that all relevant regulations, especially those governing the safety and health of personnel, are complied with.
    • Ensure the respect of company procedures
    • In liaison with Corrosion Engineer and QA/QC
    • Engineer ensure smooth inspection preparations.
    • Conduct Integrity assessment of all equipment and establish fitness for purpose/ remaining life
    • Prepare / Validate / review inspection workbook in SAP
    • Assist the Site Inspection team
    • Validation of inspection results and updating of same in CMMS
    • Adapt and Update inspection procedures
    • Advise the Head of Inspection on issues affecting facility integrity.
    • Discuss all inspection results with both the
    • Corrosion Engineer (where necessary) and the Head of Inspection for proper analysis and follow up actions.

    Qualifications

    • B. Eng in Engineering discipline, Master Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical
    • Good communication skill, and Computer literacy is an advantage.
    • 7 years experience in inspection engineer’s functions preferably in the oil industry, at least 3 of which must be in a general asset inspection management position.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation and good knowledge transmission.

    Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

    Job Description

    • Provides technical support to the JV sites maintenance teams for rotating equipment, acting as focal technical authority with regard to rotating equipment engineering and providing expert technical advice.
    • Leads and advises the development and planning of rotating equipment modifications and improvement projects, to ensure their safe, cost-effective and timely execution in accordance with established Company standards and specifications.
    • Reviews and controls the standardization of materials and spare parts for rotating equipment and related systems (as a package).
    • Reviews stock quantities, usage and consumption to minimize the stock value, whilst ensuring that all spare parts are available for routine, defect and shutdown maintenance.
    • Assists and advises the Mechanical Head in the preparation of budgets, contracts, shutdowns, modifications, warranty claims, vendor mobilization and all other support functions necessary for the efficient running of the mechanical section.
    • Ensures usage of the CMMS within his domain.
    • Creates and develops the condition monitoring.
    • Provides the service (through the contractors) of troubleshooting complex or recurring mechanical problems, which require analysis and resolution with the help of other departments, vendors or original equipment manufacturers, and recommends sound and cost effective solutions.
    • Defines and monitor implementation of rotating equipment packages preventive and corrective programme.
    • Proposes/Justifies recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency and maintainability.
    • Prepares cause tree failure analysis for equipment breakdown and issue relevant recommendations.
    • Liaises with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications in rotating equipment fleet, spare parts, drawings and the resolution of technical problems.
    • Creates Maintenance Equipment Log Book (MELB).
    • Ensures that all drawings, plans, manual and MELB are up-to-date and “as built”, and directs draftsmen to carry out all corrections to reflect any alterations, modifications and additions to mechanical equipment systems.

    Qualifications

    • Formal education: B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (2.1).
    • Professional experience (number of years): 10 years experience with rotating and static equipment preferably with the oil or petrochemical industries.
    • High level of knowledge of mechanical equipment, maintenance systems and methods
    • Team management skills
    • Computer literacy is an advantage
    • Proficiency in English language

    Senior ICSS Specialist

    Job Description

    • Schedule and carry out Bi-monthly PM’s on all sites, perform extraction and analysis of all Site operational alarms.
    • Completion of all Site Modification Request (SMR) activities related to ICSS.
    • Ensure all ICSS modification register on all site are up to date.
    • Perform cartography of all ICSS equipment and submit to Head of ICSS for Validation
    • Ensure all documentation (backup plan, disaster recovery, and antivirus/patch update plan) are intact and up to date.
    • Engineering and documentation development of ICSS functional analysis.
    • Obsolescence management and regular review of Long term upgrade plans
    • Implement cybersecurity requirements as directed by Head of ICSS.
    • Organize annual audit and participate in the ICSS Risk assessment review when required.
    • Development and input of all planned maintenance activities to the COMPANY’s Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), UNISUP.
    • Management and follow-up of all ICSS jobs being done by a third party contractor.
    • Provision of technical support, failure analyses and specialist engineering services.
    • Implementation, testing and commissioning of any approved ICSS modifications.
    • Provides technical support to the Maintenance team and acts as the focal point for ICSS matters. Provides expert technical reports to the Head of Instrumentation/ ICSS, Head of Site Maintenance and other departments.

    Qualifications

    • Formal education: B.Sc in Instrument and DCS Engineering or Electronic and Electrical Engineering (2.1).
    • Professional experience: 15 years experience with industrial discipline, specifically with the oil or petrochemical industries.
    • Personnel would be properly skilled and trained with indept knowledge in Foxboro I/A series 9.x Mesh Network.
    • Personnel would be properly skilled and trained with indept knowledge in Triconex Safety system.
    • Personnel must be a certified TUV Functional
    • Safety Engineer.
