    Compliance Officer

    Job Summary:

    • We are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. You will also review employees’ work and provide advice on compliance. Your goal will be to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.
    • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
    • Draft and revise company policies.
    • Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses.
    • Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
    • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation.
    • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
    • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
    • Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.

    Requirements:

    • Bsc degree in law, finance, business administration or other related field.
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ proven experience as a compliance officer.
    • Experience in risk management.
    • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls.
    • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Internal Auditor

    Job Summary:

    • We are looking for an objective Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
    • The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee.
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.

    Requirements:

    • Bsc degree in accounting.
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ proven experience as an internal auditor.
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
    • Sound independent judgement.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
    • Excellent organization and time management.
    • An ability to take initiative.
