    Sales and Marketing Manager

    Location: Abuja or Kano (Some travel may be required for meetings and other ad hoc activities)
    Department: Operations

    Job Summary

    • The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving data-driven sales campaigns for products, services, and pharmaceuticals distribution services.
    • Your goal will be to develop and implement strategic marketing activities, designed to achieve revenue targets and generate conversions to long-term customers and members. You will also prepare distribution/sales agreements for 3rd party products and services.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales:

    • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth for all allocated product lines.
    • Service existing clients and establish new accounts by planning and marketing activities.
    • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on new services and products relevant to EHA Clinics’ business.
    • Schedule product and service description presentations, and prepare appropriate documents such as brochures and proposals, etc.

    Marketing:

    • Work with the Communications and Branding Coordinator to Implement internal and external marketing campaigns.
    • Liaise with the Communications and Branding coordinator to oversee the design process of EHA Clinic’s publicity materials.
    • Participate in marketing events such as exhibitions, conferences, etc.
    • Identify new opportunities and threats within the customer environment and channel them through to the appropriate quarters.
    • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
    • Prepare and submit proposals or brochures to prospective clients.

    Relationship Management:

    • Gather information from customers to understand their needs and detailed requirements.
    • Maintain contact with the customers and stakeholders constantly to ensure satisfaction and determine their needs.
    • Be responsible for serving as the liaison between the company and customers.
    • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

    Service Level Management:

    • Ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels.
    • Create and maintain a catalog of available services.
    • Diagnose service delivery problems and initiate actions to improve levels of service.

    Project Manager, Community Health

    Location: Kano (Travel required for meetings and other ad hoc activities)

    Job Summary

    • The Project Manager, Community Health, will work closely with the Medical and Operations team of EHA Clinics to drive a sustainable, low-cost community healthcare delivery model accessible to individuals and families in the places they live and work.  
    • For Nigeria to make progress towards Universal Health Coverage, it will require an exponential increase in access to quality primary care and community healthcare services. The Project Manager, Community Health will drive the effort to reach communities with healthcare services and products, social insurance, and other products/services to improve health and wellbeing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of community health nurses (CHNs), community health extension workers (CHEWs), community volunteers, and marketers to deliver high-quality community-based health care.
    • Actively monitor the performance of team members to ensure they meet service delivery, sales, membership, and other program targets.
    • Identify barriers to service delivery and develop strategies to overcome them.
    • Rapidly and iteratively pilot CHEW initiatives in selected communities to test feasibility, acceptability, and profitability before expanding them throughout the program.
    • Expand the portfolio of products and services that CHEWs will sell in the communities based on market analysis.
    • Organize community health events to promote our services and memberships.
    • Using the geographical boundaries, develop a clear list of potential target groups and vigorously engage them for membership enrolment and service delivery.

    • Maintain an adequate inventory of medicines, tests, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
    • Support and assist with different forms of data gathering and analysis

    LEAN and Quality Manager

    • The Lean and Quality Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout EHA Clinics’ by using LEAN methodologies.
    • You will perform quality audits, work with team leads to come up with improvements, and drive implementation of these improvements to ensure our services meet the needs of our customers.
    • The LEAN and Quality Manager will work with the leadership of EHA Clinics to ensure that LEAN principles become a part of our culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead company-wide continuous improvement efforts through the use of LEAN tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, TPM, Visual Management, etc.
    • Assess the quality of our products or services through a variety of stress tests.
    • Build and maintain the foundation for continuous improvement by ensuring the effective functioning of transformation activities aligned to a Lean Operating System.
    • Lead Quality Improvement initiatives and establish defined Quality Management Systems.
    • Work with the leadership team to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues.
    • Ensure EHA Clinics is compliant with quality documentation and requirements.
    • Review and standardize control plans, closed-loop corrective action systems, and quality management systems in all our facilities.

    Requirements
    Required:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 
    • Minimum 6+ years in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceuticals space. 
    • Previous experience in deploying LEAN in an organization. 
    • Experience in being a change agent leading complex transformational activities.
    • Strong Project Management skills.

    Desired:

    • An MBA or MSc in a related field.

    Client Relations Manager

    Laboratory Scientist

    Job Summary

    • The Laboratory Scientist will be expected to provide first-class services by applying skills and scientific knowledge to support accurate medical diagnoses and the wellbeing of our patients. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing disease.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

    Laboratory Scientist Duties:

    • S/he collect and analyze body fluids, tissue and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings.
    • You'll operate sophisticated equipment and instruments to identify the results. Both technicians and technologists perform tests and procedures that physicians or other healthcare personnel order.
    • Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced troubleshooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
    • Identifies and communicates abnormal results by alerting supervisory personnel, the patient physician, or nurse.
    • S/he will need to be able to conduct the following investigations;
    • (Toxicology) identifies the presence or quantity of drugs of abuse, therapeutic drugs, and toxic substances by operating toxicology instrumentation and performing manual methods for the performance of drug screens, blood alcohol levels, and carbon monoxide levels.
    • (Chemistry) provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating chemistry equipment; performing hand chemistries.
    • (Hematology) provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation equipment; performing manual methods of differentials.
    • (Immunology) provides test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating equipment such as the gamma counter, spectrophotometer, densitometer, and through methods such as radioimmunoassay, enzyme immunoassay, and serological testing.
    • (Microbiology) provides physician with information for treatment of patient infection by performing technical procedures for the identification or susceptibility of bacteria, parasites, fungi, and mycobacteria.
    • (Blood bank) ensures the patient of receiving compatible blood/blood components by completing blood typing, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and antibody identification procedures.
    • (Blood bank) assures future retrieval of patient transfusion information by preparing patient packets and maintaining blood bank database.
    • Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
    • Using a Lab Information Management System for specimen tracking, results entry and reporting.
    • Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers by following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
    • Maintains patient’s confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.
    • Serves and protects the Diagnostic firm by adhering to professional standards, laboratories policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and other pre-specified standards.
    • Enhances laboratory services and laboratory reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    • Provide emotional support and measures to alleviate fear and anxiety.
    • Assess patient and family readiness and identifying learning needs.

    Qualifications & Training

    • A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in laboratory science from an accredited university.
    • Candidate must possess a Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN)
    • Candidate must possess a current practising license.
    • Relevant Certification will be an added advantage.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years working experience in a Medical Laboratory, Clinic or hospital.

    Salary

    • Competitive salary scale based on improvements from the CONMESS and CONHESS salary structures as well as surveys from top private hospitals in Nigeria. Salary is negotiable but performance-based. Base salary constitutes 70%, while 30% is a bonus based on predefined individual performance indicators and monthly organizational performance.
