    Packaging Process Operator

    Location: Onitsha, Anambra

    Overall Purpose of Function

    • To Safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment (Filling and labelling process areas which have a bigger business impact with cost and consumer quality) and related process to achieve optimal effectiveness, process quality and Productivity.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • Complete associated tracking and monitoring:
    • Complete operator workstation administration and act as required.
    • Complete Team room administration as required
    • Contribute to self-development
    • Manage PIMS & POMS and take corrective action on negative trends
    • Use QFR's (As per triggers)
    • Complete 5 WHY's (As per triggers) with relevant team members
    • Contribute towards AB reports as required
    • Ensure process quality and productivity
    • Carrying out autonomous operations as defined for the process areas
    • Identify defective plant, and report these through to the Process Artisan or Team Leader to assist with resolution
    • Assisting the Process Artisan/Machine specialist in executing running repairs on shift.
    • Carrying out the required quality checks and analyses and recording the results on the appropriate information system
    • The list of quality checks to be executed is contained in the work instructions.
    • react to the results using the VPO tools supplied
    • Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions. Making use of the action logs to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
    • Fully understand the team Dream and contribute in achieving it
    • Make use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues
    • Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality and maintenance are communicated

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • 1 year on the job training, SKAP Completed

    Maintenance Controller (E/C & A) - Packaging

    Location: Onitsha, Anambra

    Reporting to: The Packaging Engineer

    Overall Purpose of Function

    • The successful incumbent with excellent understanding of Control and Automation Processes will provide for the efficient supply of all Automation services to the Brewing departments within the brewery.

    • Interpret process description specifications and conduct modifications /optimisations of process control software as per specifications and software standards. Identify process control software deviations and resolve or recommend solutions
    • Support the process control software change management process
    • Maintain process control software integrity and security
    • Support the development of and upgrade preventative maintenance procedures for process control systems
    • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
    • Maintain working knowledge of new technology instrumentation, software, etc., through reading and/or attending conferences, workshops or other training
    • Provide engineering/projects support and recommendations for new and existing equipment about installation, upgrades and enhancement.

    Engineering Store Clerk

    Location: Sagamu, Ogun

    Overall Purpose of the Function

    • An opportunity exists for highly skilled and result driven Engineering Store Clerk- Maintenance in our Gateway Plant reporting to the Engineering Store Controller- Maintenance.
    • The successful incumbent with excellent understanding of Microsoft excel will effectively control goods received and goods issued through proper store management practices to ensure optimal result in the Store.  

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Interact with suppliers daily to receive goods ordered.
    • Interact with the buyer or engineering controller on an ad hoc basis, to resolve any problems.
    • Reviews on a regular basis, or at pre-determined intervals, stock control report.
    • Ensure that all goods are stored in the correct location and in a safe manner and ensures that.
    • Review on a regular basis that all storage procedures are adhered to and that regular reviews are completed.
    • Pay attention to people on the floor and notify management of any possible shoplifting.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc./HND or its equivalent Degree in a relevant area of study such as Materials Management, Accounting, Supply Chain or Stock Management.
    • 1 – 2 year Experience in similar role will be an added advantage.

    Packaging Electrician

    Location: Sagamu, Ogun

    Main Purpose of Function

    • An opportunity exists for a highly skilled Packaging Electrician to provide specialized electrical artisan skill and knowledge to the shift team, and to support the operations, maintenance of the brewing plant and to perform and assist in problem solving.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

    • Provide specialist support to the shift-based teams during operations.  
    • Assist as functional expert in problem solving.  
    • Optimize production performance and process.
    • Maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated devises.
    • Maintain safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
    • Work in teams.
    • Take part in maintenance planning meeting, contributing suggestions, and clarifying work required.
    • Carry out work during the planned maintenance outage in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Main Planner.
    • Partake in maintenance postmortems to feedback problems, opportunities, and learnings from maintenance activities.

    Qualifications

    Packaging Machine Specialist - PSL Labeler

    Location: Sagamu, Ogun

    Key Purpose of Function

    • An Opportunity exists for a highly skilled and results driven Machine Specialist PSL Labeler - Packaging in our Gateway Plant reporting to the Maintenance Controller- Packaging.
    • The successful incumbent will maintain, repair, and optimize machines and associated devices to ensure machine availability and product quality at minimum cost whilst maintaining standards.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

    • Provide specialist support to the shift-based teams during operations.  
    • Assist as functional expert in problem solving 
    • This must be undertaken in support of the Process Artisan. This role can also be the Process Artisan on shift 
    • Take part in maintenance planning meeting, contributing suggestions, and clarifying work required  
    • Carry out work during the planned maintenance outage in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Main Planner   
    • Partake in maintenance postmortems to feedback problems, opportunities, and learnings from maintenance activities         
    • Partake in cleaning, lubrication and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the Maintenance Planner  
    • Carry out routine maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule  
    • Where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance, these must be resolved using the appropriate PS techniques        
    • Partake in cleaning, lubrication, and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the Maintenance Planner
