    Bursar

    Duties

    • The Bursar shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day financial management of the Academy, and shall advise the Rector on all financial matters.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates for the position of Bursar should possess a good honours degree in Accountancy/Finance from a recognized University plus at least seventeen (17) years cognate experience Or Master's Degree in Accountancy/Finance from a recognized University, plus at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience and a member of ICAN or ANAN.
    • The candidate must have attained the position of Deputy Bursar for at least four (4) years in a tertiary institution.
    • Candidate must possess demonstrable competence to provide administrative leadership.

    The Candidates:

    • The Bursar shall be a person of high integrity and of strong moral character with excellent interpersonal relations.
    • The person must be computer literate and be able to instil confidence in others and command the loyalty and respect of people.
    • He/she must be in good health and not more than 45 years of age on assumption of duty.

    Conditions of Service
    The conditions of service of the Bursar shall include the following:

    • Consolidated salary.
    • Other fringe benefits as obtained in the Conditions of Service of the Academy;

    Librarian

    Job Description/Duties

    • The College Librarian who is one of the Principal Officers in the Academy is the Chief Library Manager of the Academy.
    • He is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration of the Academy’s Library which is made up of the main Library and the Resource Centre.
    • The College Librarian is an academic position.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates for the position of a College Librarian must possess Ph.D degree in Library Science from a recognized University with at least twelve (12) years cognate experience in administrative and research work in a University or Polytechnic. OR
    • Master's Degree in Library Science from a recognized University with at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience in applied research.
    • Candidate should possess evidence of scholarly publications in local, national and international reputable academic journals, plus evidence of membership of Library Professional bodies and registration with the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
    • Candidate must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic and administrative leadership.
    • In addition, candidate must have spent four (4) years as a Chief Librarian in a tertiary institution.

    Director, Works & Services

    Duties

    • The Director, Works & Services shall be responsible to the Rector for the physical development, maintenance and care of the Academy’s estate, rehabilitation of existing facilities and development of new ones, including roads, water, electricity, vehicles, equipment and furniture in administrative, academic and residential areas ensuring cost effectiveness.
    • Preparing and maintaining the Academy’s fixed assets register and making periodic reports to the Rector on physical state of the Academy.
    • Responsible for co-ordination and control of the Works & Services Department activities in the Academy.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates for the position of Director, Works & Services should possess a good honours degree in Engineering, plus membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Registration with COREN. Possession of Master Degree in Engineering shall be an added advantage.
    • In addition, Candidate must have spent four (4) years as Deputy Director, Works & Services in tertiary institutions.

    The Candidates:

    • The Director, Works & Services shall be a person of high integrity and of strong moral character with excellent interpersonal relations.
    • The person must be computer literate, be able to instil confidence in others and command the loyalty and respect of people.
    • He/she must be in good health and not more than 45 years of age on assumption of duty.

    Conditions of Service

    • Tenure of appointment shall be to the retirement age of 60 years, or 35 years of service, whichever comes first.

    Senior Legal Officer

    Requirements

    • Candidates for the post of Senior Legal Officer must possess a minimum of Bachelor of Law degree and certificate of call to the Nigerian Bar with no less than 10 years cognate experience.
    • Possession of Master of Law degree shall be added advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must possess NYSC exemption/exclusion or discharge certificate.

    Registrar

    Duties

    • The Registrar shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration of the Academy and shall be the Secretary of the Council, the Academic Board and other statutory committees.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Candidates for the position of Registrar should possess a good honors degree from a recognised university, plus, at least, 17 years cognate experience; Or a holder of a Master's Degree from a recognized University, plus at least 15 years cognate experience, Or a holder of Doctorate degree plus at least 12 years cognate experience.
    • In addition candidate should have attained the position not lower than Deputy Registrar for at least four (4) years in a recognised tertiary institution.
    • Membership of recognized professional bodies will be an added advantage.

    The Candidates:

    • The Registrar shall be a person of high integrity and or strong moral character with excellent interpersonal relations.
    • The person must be able to instil confidence in others and command the loyalty and respect of people.
    • He/she must be in good health and must not be more than 45 years on assumption of duty.
