    Data Analyst – Mining Operations

     Job Summary:

    •  We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support mining operations by collecting, verifying, and analysing production and operational data. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting, decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collect and input daily production metrics, including ore tonnage, ore grade, recovery rates, and waste volumes.
    • Transcribe data from handwritten field notes, reports, or logs into digital formats using spreadsheets or mining-specific software.
    • Maintain up-to-date records on equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
    • Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing source documents and conducting routine checks.
    • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
    • Collaborate with operational teams such as engineers, supervisors, geologists, and surveyors to resolve data gaps or discrepancies.
    • Ensure secure storage, backup, and confidentiality of all operational data in compliance with company policies.
    • Assist with internal audits and quality control by providing timely and well-documented records.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mining Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management tools; experience with mining software (e.g., Surpac, Micromine, or similar) is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Familiarity with mining operations and production processes is an advantage.

    HSE Assistant

    Job Summary:

    • To support the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department in implementing and maintaining safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Support HSE officers/managers in daily safety operations.
    • Help maintain and update safety documentation and records.
    • Conduct routine site safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions.
    • Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.
    • Follow up on corrective actions for identified hazards.
    • Assist in reporting, recording, and investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and maintain incident logs.
    • Help organize HSE training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
    • Distribute safety materials (signs, posters, leaflets) across work areas.
    • Maintain HSE records such as inspection checklists, permits-to-work, and training attendance.
    • Prepare periodic HSE reports for management review.
    • Assist in conducting emergency drills and maintaining emergency equipment.
    • Ensure first aid boxes and firefighting equipment are regularly checked and refilled.
    • Support compliance with local, national, and company HSE regulations.
    • Assist during external or internal HSE audits.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment preferred).
    • Basic knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Certification in HSE (Level 1, 2, or 3) is an added advantage.

    Site Nurse

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first aid and emergency medical care to staff in case of accidents, injuries, or illnesses on-site.
    • Conduct routine medical examinations and health screenings for site employees and contractors.
    • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccinations as required.
    • Monitor and maintain an adequate stock of medical supplies, drugs, and first aid equipment.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of all staff and incidents.
    • Participate in health and safety risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and wellness campaigns.

    Qualifications and Requirements.

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council 
    • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an industrial, occupational health, or remote site environment.
    • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, First Aid, or Basic Life Support (BLS) is an added advantage.
    • Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
    • Knowledge of occupational health standards and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or challenging environment.

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Audit & Control Officer to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s internal control systems.     • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in internal control, internal audit, or compliance functions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
    • Excellent analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
    • High integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and governance standards in Nigeria and across Africa.
