The Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning and compliance function. The Tax Supervisor assists and supports the regional tax management team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Tax compliance reviews (CIT, WHT, VAT, PIT, etc)
• Work on external audits and internal reporting.
• Work on cash repatriation and tax credit projects.
• Assist Tax Manager with tax related projects.
• Prepare, review and file corporate tax returns and indirect tax returns.
• Review statutory fiscal accounts to meet filing deadlines.
• Prepare, review, consolidate and submit internal management reports
• Identify and deliver continuous process improvements; support and implement automation.
• Achieve operational effectiveness, set targets for controls and identify control improvements.
• Deliver on tax effectiveness and efficiency targets.
• Mentor new members of the tax team.
• Support on tax audits as required.
• Support with restructuring initiatives.

 Experience & Exposures:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in tax practice, ideally gained within a reputable professional services or audit environment
• Professional qualification or membership of a national/international Chartered Accounting or Taxation Institute is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of tax regulations, tax audits and compliance processes
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience in the Energy sector and/or Big4 audit firms will be an advantage.

The HR Recruiting Coordinator Intern is responsible for supporting Talent Acquisition initiatives by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, recruitment administration, and hiring processes. The role contributes to attracting, evaluating, and onboarding qualified candidates while ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Support in coordinating the hiring process for new recruits, including pre-employment screening, travel, relocation.
• Support in coordinating career fairs and university engagements.
• Support in maintaining requisition and advertising databases.
• Support in maintaining new employee files and Human Resources records to support future activity.
• Organize the logistics for all assessment sessions.
• Participate in continuous improvement & employee engagement initiatives.
• Continuous communication with candidates on application statues and queries.
• Maintain a good grasp of Talent Acquisition and HR issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.

Experiences & Exposures

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or any related management science or social science field of study.
• A recent graduate not more than 2years post-graduation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools.
• Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
• Must have completed NYSC.
