    Head of Sales / Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion by leading the development and execution of sales strategies.
    • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring the sales team, and setting sales targets.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager for at least 3-5 years.
    • Extensive experience in the investment and credit facilities sector.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques specific to investment and credit facilities.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Credit Risk Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Risk Officer to assess and manage credit risk exposure across the company’s lending operations.
    • The ideal candidate will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, monitor loan portfolio performance, and ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are implemented in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Evaluate credit applications, including financial statements, credit reports, and repayment capacity, to determine creditworthiness.
    • Develop and apply credit risk assessment models, scorecards, and approval criteria.
    • Monitor and analyze the loan portfolio for signs of delinquency, default, or concentration risk.
    • Recommend appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions to manage risk exposure.
    • Track key credit risk indicators (CRIs) and prepare risk reports for management.
    • Conduct scenario analysis on lending portfolios.
    • Support the development and enforcement of credit policies, procedures, and risk appetite frameworks.
    • Collaborate with collections, sales, and compliance teams on delinquency, recoveries, and legal proceedings.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal credit risk guidelines.
    • Participate in credit committee reviews and decision-making processes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • 2–5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, credit underwriting, or portfolio monitoring.
    • Strong understanding of credit analysis techniques, financial ratios, and lending practices.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., CBN guidelines, credit bureau reports).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and credit risk assessment tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication and report writing abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional certifications such as Credit Risk Management (CRM), CFA, FRM, or similar.
    • Experience in fintech, commercial banking, microfinance, or consumer lending environments.
    • Working knowledge of credit scoring models and data analytics tools.
