    Project Manager

    Job Description

    • A construction project manager oversees all aspects of a construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring it stays within budget and schedule by planning, directing, and managing all project activities, including collaborating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project goals while maintaining quality control and safety compliance;
    • Key responsibilities include budget management, schedule development, contract negotiation, resource allocation, and progress reporting.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop detailed project plans, cost estimates, and timelines, including resource allocation and contingency planning.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
    • Track project milestones, provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, budget, and schedule.
    • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage project contingencies.
    • Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.
    • Obtain necessary permits and ensure project compliance with local building codes and regulations.
    • Oversees all materials at the site, including documentation of materials coming to site and usage, quality and quantity of materials being received by the site is in the best of standards.
    • Prepare and sends daily site report (work progress, materials, personnel and equipment)
    • Involved in Evaluation and Valuation of completed work for the purpose of raising payment Certificate.
    • As may be directed, can represent the company in Project Meetings concerning the site of your posting.
    • Maintain company reputation by complying with Federal and State regulations.

    Requirements

    • Must be a certified member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
    • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
    • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
    • Advanced MS Office skills
    • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
    • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
    • Project management and supervision skills.
    • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
    • Time management and organization skills.

    Stores / Site Clerk

    Job Description

    • A construction Stores / Site clerk is responsible for managing administrative tasks on a construction site, including maintaining detailed records of personnel timekeeping, material deliveries, safety compliance, and overall site documentation, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with project plans and regulations by assisting the site management team.

    Responsibilities

    • Procurement of site material and reporting to Head Office for the accounts-related activities performed on site.
    • Report accurate quantities of materials on site and in the head office.
    • Inspection of deliveries where possible.
    • Daily monitoring of attendance on site.
    • Assist in managing inventory controls.
    • Assist in displaying products and materials in an easy-to-locate manner.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Tracking employee hours worked on site using timekeeping systems.
    • Distributing timesheets to workers and ensuring accurate completion.
    • Monitoring overtime and labor costs.
    • Managing site communication, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
    • Assisting with permit applications and other administrative tasks.
    • Ordering office supplies and maintaining site facilities.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc in relevant fields with 7 years of work experience.
    • Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage large volumes of paperwork and data accurately.
    • Attention to detail: Meticulous in recording information and identifying discrepancies.
    • Computer proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Communication skills: Effective communication with site personnel, contractors, and project managers.
    • Basic understanding of construction practices: Knowledge of construction terminology and project phases.
