    Billing/AR Officer


    Location:
    Victoria Island, Lagos

    Purpose

    • Administer the billing and collection activities for the company to ensure customers pay on time and in full. 
    • Reporting of company sales and revenue information, and maintain the integrity of the customer billing system.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manager invoicing activities and maintenance of customer billing software
    • Approval of Site Activity Requests
    • Daily posting of customer payments to the billing software system
    • Daily monitoring of  accounts and customer payment status to ensure accurate activation and re-activation of services
    • Follow up on customer billing queries and changes to service plans, upgrades/downgrades
    • Generation of weekly and monthly sales/revenue reports for management and financial reporting
    • Adhere to TL9000 requirements, review of all tasks and responsibilities to ensure documented procedures are followed and/or updated, with recommendations on improvements

    Essential Skills/Knowledge

    • 2 plus years experience in a billing and collections role for an international company
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • MS Office applications to an intermediate or advanced level
    • Ability to respond to customer calls and emails in an effective and timely manner

    Essential Skills/Knowledge:

    • Industry and market knowledge of credit and collection practices

    Education and/or Professional Qualification:

    • University graduate in Business or Accounting discipline

    IT Hardware Repairs Technician


    Location
    : Victoria Island, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • Troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and testing of computer hardware and peripherals, including laptop and desktop computer systems, printers, routers/switches, circuit boards, computer chips, keyboards, UPS, monitors, etc.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Test and re-test parts to ensure they work properly.
    • Identify and isolate defects of items that are not working.
    • Prepare diagnostics report including findings, root cause, recommendation.
    • Up/Downgrade operating and application software as needed.
    • Diagnose, test and repair circuits and other electronic components.
    • Replace and integrate components into the repaired equipment or device.
    • Estimate feasibility, timeline, cost, reliability, and safety factors for repairs of defective items.
    • Generate specifications for parts and software needed for repairs.
    • User support for peripherals, including central processing units (CPUs), support logic, microprocessors, custom integrated circuits, and printers and disk drives.
    • Specify power supply requirements and configuration.
    • Retrieve and record repair data on ageing, time, cost, quantities of repairs for analysis.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
    • Experience with common PC desktop and laptop (Windows & Apple) components and peripherals as well as VOIP devices, printers, monitors, KVM switches, tablet/iPad
    • Knowledge of servers will be an added advantage.

    Network Engineer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Short Summary of the Job

    • Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role will be responsible for participating in IP network operation, infrastructure connectivity and security planning as well as development.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Participate in IP network operation, infrastructure connectivity, security planning as well as development
    • Support network design and implementation for core and client networks
    • Ensure all IP devices are secured and within operational limits
    • Support daily IP network operation, project management and services monitoring
    • Conduct network analyzing and troubleshooting
    • Coordinate with Regional IP Registry
    • Document all network changes
    • Other task assigned by line manager.

    Education and/or Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Communications/Network/Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
    • IP Certification, preferably from Cisco on CCNP level equivalent or above.

    Essential Skills/Knowledge:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IP Network and System Support
    • LAN/WAN technology including: TCP/IP (routers, configuration and setup), Security (firewalls – Cisco, Juniper, Barracuda), Network management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, cabling, packet sniffing)
    • Advanced knowledge in Router, Catalyst, Load Balancer, Firewall, Security, Internet Connection, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4, VPN, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, LAN/ WAN, VLAN, Spanning Tree, Ethereal
    • Knowledge in Unix/ Linux, Shell script, IDS, QoS, Video/ Streaming Protocols,
    • Experience designing last mile access solutions for different environments (DSL, microwave radio, PTP and PTP radio, fibre etc.)
    • Strong written and oral communications skills in English
    • Willing to perform work or provide support outside office hours
    • Highly motivated and resourceful
    • Must be a team player and be able to prioritize different request and requirements.
    • Hand-on design and operation of network like BGP and MPLS

    Desirable Skills/Knowledge:

    • Experience in ISP and managing a sizable IP network
    • Experience in liaising with Regional IP Registry (APNIC, RIPE, AfriNIC etc)
    • Knowledge of structure cabling and VoIP.
