    Mid-Level Frontend Engineer

    Description

    • We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer with 2–3 years of experience — ideally in fintech or banking — to join our growing engineering team. You will own the frontend of our internal admin portals and customer-facing web products. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver polished, performant, and accessible web experiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and extend our internal back-office admin portal — adding new modules, tables, dashboards, filters, and workflows
    • Integrate RESTful APIs from our Spring Boot backend — handling authentication, pagination, error states, and real time updates
    • Implement pixel-perfect UI components from Figma designs, maintaining consistency with our internal design system
    • Write clean, well-structured, reusable component code with proper TypeScript types and minimal technical debt
    • Collaborate in sprint ceremonies — planning, reviews, and retrospectives — contributing to team velocity and quality
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow engineers.
    • Debug and resolve frontend issues reported by QA, ops, or customers — owning the fix end-to-end.
    • Work with the product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions with sensible tradeoffs
    • Proactively identify and flag UX inconsistencies, accessibility gaps, or performance bottlenecks.

    Requirements

    • 2–3 years of professional frontend engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a fintech, banking, or financial services environment
    • Experience working in a structured engineering team with Git workflows, code reviews, and sprint-based delivery
    • Proficiency in React.js (functional components, hooks, context, custom hooks)
    • Solid JavaScript (ES6+) — async/await, destructuring, modules, closures
    • Experience building or working on fintech products — digital banking, payments, wallets, lending, or savings platforms
