The Central Control Room Operator’s objective is to organize and coordinate production shift team to produce good quality product taking cognizance of safety, efficiency, effectiveness, quality and cost per tonne.
What you'll be doing
- To operate the equipment according to Lafarge Best Practice putting in mind the Safety of Personnel and Equipment
- Control all major process lines within the cement manufacturing operation including equipment commissioning, starts- ups, shutdowns, and emergency condition management as per established SOP’s in order to meet production requirements.

The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and follow up of day to day operations in accordance to the set out targets and standards. Production Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of Shift Manager as well as WBI inspections.
What you'll be doing
- Within the framework of the production instructions given by the Production Manager, is in charge of all operational activities from raw material feed bins, raw grinding, Clinker Production, Cement grinding up to Cement Dispatch and ensures that activities are carried out safely in accordance with quality control procedures and environmental regulations.

Ensures that the correct proportions of materials are mixed and ready for transportation in/to Plants or construction sites. His/Her primary responsibility is to oversee the batching process, where raw materials like cement, aggregates (sand, gravel), water, and admixtures are combined according to the required specifications for producing ready-mix concrete.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure full compliance with Lafarge HSE standards. Conduct regular BOG/VPCs in the plant/offices to ensure HSE compliance, with documented report.

Health & Safety:
- Drive and ensure full compliance of the plant to Lafarge Health, Safety & Environment standards through the right application and management of HSE policies and advisories in place for employees and other stakeholders.
- Conduct Regular VPC across the RMX plants/offices to assess H&S compliance, with documented report as per performance objective requirements.
- Champion the execution of Site Improvement Plan actions in consultation with Safety Manager – A&C and the Regional Manager.
