    Employee Journey and Environment (Product Owner)

    Role

    As a Product Owner for employee journey and environment, you will be crafting a workplace experience that authentically reflects the company way of working; building a team of service-minded professionals that work on behalf of the workforce; delivering tools and technology to enable seamless workflow and collaboration across diverse teams and geographies.

    You will take care of the day-to-day running of projects, including preboarding to offboarding, and everything in-between as part of the employee lifecycle; you will work with facilities teams to ensure physical experience of people enables their upmost productivity in collaboration and individual contribution scenarios; you will work with HR and finance teams to understand productivity and economic impact of implementing policies and projects; you will work with teams to define the right mix of WFH, international travel, in-office work for each of them and find best tools and processes to enable their maximum performance and engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a cross-functional program to elevate employee experience through strategies like product management, agile methodologies, employee centred design.
    • Define, map out and execute Employee Journey Map, working in partnership with HR, COEs, People Ops, HR Tech, Tech Infra, Finance, Facilities teams.
    • Facilitate and conduct meetings with stakeholders to capture and define opportunities; leverage these insights & map candidate and employee journeys that’s also aligned to business strategy, people priorities, and user data that will have a significant impact on the overall employee experience
    • Act as Product Owner for key employee journeys, and lead a cross functional team on all aspects of end-to-end product delivery, from idea to roll-out, ensuring objectives are met.
    • Work on both virtual and physical experience of employees, work closely with teams to define their working environment, be it remote-first or physical team space, engage with facilities and technology teams to strive for reliable infrastructure for effective collaboration
    • Use Product Marketing knowledge to design effective product launch strategies, leading to swift adoption and engagement of the employees
    • Drive, measure, and advise on employee journey effectiveness with teams across the People and Product team, work on OKRs and metrics that objectively represent efficiency of the program
    • Educate, communicate, and coach stakeholders, responsible for employee processes, to develop new capabilities in the consumerization of the employee experience

    Requirements

    • Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational and project planning and execution skills
    • Successful track record of delivering results in a dynamic environment; effectively balances short and long-term goals.
    • General understanding and knowledge of software development; strong technical and programming aptitudes.
    • Scrum Product Owner or Agile practitioner or Business analyst experience will be an advantage
    • Problem-solving skills, grounded in data and feedback and driven toward process simplification.
    • Forward-thinking and able to extrapolate learnings and industry trends to build a roadmap for the future
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations and collaborate across teams and at all levels of the organization.

    iOS Engineer

    Role Overview:

    We are looking for a result-driven and analytical software engineer to work on our native iOS mobile application. S/he will use his or her understanding of programming tools and languages to analyze current codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems and create a fantastic experience for users.

    Process & Business Technology, Platforms Manager

    About role

    Business products that Kuda is delivering to African markets rely upon business processes and platforms, executing all the necessary operational steps to keep client satisfaction high and costs low. As we scale our business we invest into technology and teams that are building and and keep monitoring and continuously optimising all operational tools and processes in the organisation. As a Process & Business Technology Platforms manager you will build and lead a team with a fusion of technology, data, process skill set with a goal to enable our growth and products expansion. You will work closely with operational leads to drive optimisation cycle, implement required technology and drive the costs down. You will work with technology to find the right tools and drive their implementation or development and further adoption. This role is inherently cross-functional—with a goal to bring new capabilities and features to market and launch improve our operation and deliver on our customer promises.

    Responsibilities

    • Build a team of business technology and process optimisation experts that will work closely with operational leads and technology team to define, build and optimise process execution platforms, supporting roll out of new products of the organisation
    • Monitor execution across operational processes, identify areas where intervention is required based on data, design target solutions (both technological and organisational), roadmaps and drive them amongst stakeholders including technology, operations, product management
    • “Design for no ops” / “Design for no human intervention” - define, measure, and analyse current state processes to determine areas for simplification, standardisation and automation

    Requirements

    • Understanding of process optimisation methodologies, application of the frameworks to realities of growing and changing business. Knowledge and practical experience with process management and process mining tools
    • Passion and skill in deep dive data analysis, hands-on work with data at source and partnering with enabling technology and BI teams to report and measure the effectiveness of the processes
    • Understanding user needs and insights with an ability to translate these to digital journeys and user stories, specifically to reduce or significantly optimise manual tasks.

    About role

    You will work closely with company management to create a processes and structure to support growing number of products and projects that the company is pushing to the market.

    • Build and effectively manage budgets and financials and reporting.
    • Create and oversee and maintain portfolio reporting providing consolidated views on status, progress, budget, resource allocation, risks and dependencies on a portfolio, product, program and project level.
    • Develop and implement service level agreements (SLA) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and conducts regular portfolio reviews against those goals.
    • Ensure adherence to portfolio management standards and processes and socialize standards and processes through portfolio performance management, meetings, workshops, etc. to drive adoption

    Requirements

    • Ability to break problems into parts to see relationships or interdependencies, forecast challenges and apply critical thinking to resolve timeously
    • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret the data in order to know how and when to take action.
    • Solid business understanding, independently use quantitative and qualitative data to support portfolio decision making and tell a clear story with the data/ insights
    • Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects.
    • Ability to drive collaboration across teams and mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others.
