    Regional Facilities Officer

    Job Description

    • This job role identifies and meets the maintenance needs of the company’s physical properties, to ensure optimal performance of both the employees and equipment.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any field.
    • A master’s degree in any related discipline will be an added advantage.
    • Membership in relevant professional bodies. 
    • Possession of relevant certifications is an added advantage, at least 3 years experience

    Technical competencies

    • Knowledge in preparation of scope of work and estimation
    • Ability to interpret working drawings
    • Knowledge of standard space management and utilization practices. 
    • Basic knowledge of mechanical, and electrical systems, safety rules & hazards, fire protection alarm systems, etc.
    • Proven experience in the application of accident prevention measures.
    • Proven experience implementing maintenance schedules.

    Behavioral competencies

    •  Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Good oral and written communication skills.

    Job Responsibility

    • Inspect buildings, office equipment, and appliances for functionality and make provision for replacement of old and damaged appliances as applicable. 
    • Implement property maintenance policies and standards to serve as a guide to other property workers. 
    • Develop and maintain a good relationship with contractors, vendors, and site workers to get the best bargains on property repairs, supplies, and maintenance.  
    • Arrange for the diagnosis of problems with appliances and facilitate prompt repairs for the convenience of staff and visitors. 
    • Design plan and schedule for works to be executed on properties.
    • Work with HSE Function to ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to staff and third parties.
    • Directs Cleaning & preparation of vacated buildings and rooms, getting them ready for new users to move in. 
    • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • Carries out other sundry assignments as directed by the Head Supply Chain.

    Business Intelligence Officer

    Job Description

    • The role assists the Business Intelligence Manager at the office of the Managing Director; to collect, analyze, and present data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and improve overall business performance.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent. Relevant professional certification or qualification would be an added advantage. At least 2+ years in a similar role or related field.

    Technical competencies

    • Demonstrated strategic focus with the capacity to shape and drive vision for advancing business intelligence objectives 
    • Extensive experience and comprehensive working knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse.
    • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and liaison. 
    • Extensive knowledge of business analytics. 
    • Good knowledge of technical standards/regulations and statutory requirements guiding electricity distribution systems

    Job Responsibility

    • Assist in utilizing and analyzing data to determine the growth level of the business and ways to improve and optimize revenue. 
    • Able to write data collection and processing procedures. 
    • Ensure that data is being correctly gathered, stored, and analyzed. 
    • Develop methodology to improve data analysis.
    • Ensure data sourcing is from reliable and good sources. 
    • Evaluate data and ensure data results are easy to understand. 
    • Work with the reporting line to create a list of needs for each business division while maintaining data security and integrity. 
    • Identify specific needs for business intelligence reporting and analysis. 
    • Provide reports through office applications to improve business processes. 
    • Build automated and ad-hoc reports in support of various stakeholders.
    • Assist in the strategic design, delivery, and maintenance of the Business Intelligence program that will support IBEDC’s Business priorities. 
    • Assist in the activities related to the development and implementation of IBEDC’s reporting and analytics; business data collated from sales, payments etc.
    • Prepare reports as may be required by the reporting line.
