    Electrical Lead – Panel Design & Assembly

    Role Overview:

If you have a passion for leading projects, guiding teams, and delivering high-quality electrical solutions, we invite you to apply for the position of Electrical Lead – Panel Design & Assembly at Hexagon Engineering Limited.
    • Hexagon Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Lead to oversee and lead electrical panel design and assembly projects.
    • The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise in electrical engineering, panel layout, wiring, and assembly processes, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical panels and control systems.
    • Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and wire diagrams.
    • Supervise and coordinate the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical panels.
    • Ensure that all electrical work complies with health, safety, and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project timelines.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during design, assembly, and commissioning.
    • Maintain documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and quality control records.
    • Mentor and support junior electrical staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in electrical panel design and assembly.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and safety regulations.
    • Hands-on experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation is a plus.

    • Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management.
    • Proficiency in cost management software and Excel.
    • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
