    Senior Quality Officer (QA / QC)

    Description

    • A Construction company seeks to recruit a seasoned Quality Officer who would be responsible for all compliance matters of all construction or maintenance project and organization as a whole.
    • This role also manages the company’s Quality Management System.

    Position Overview / Responsibilities

    • Ensure that compliance procedures, systems and controls are up-to-date and effective.
    • Maintain the compliance manual, and all compliance procedure documentation
    • Develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
    • Develop and implement a quality assurance program/plan for projects based on ISO 9001-2000.
    • Develop and monitor project QA/QC budgets.
    • Assure timely and effective implementation of a project quality control program.
    • Monitor project material usage along design requirements.
    • Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
    • Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs;

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
    • Registered with a recognised professional association
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in understanding and performing Monitoring and Compliance management in an organisation.
    • Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
    • Computer literate in MS Word and Excel and working experience with Auto-cad and Primavera.
    • Experience in project planning, execution (construction realities), management, and communication with all engineering groups.
    • Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, deficiencies, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.
    • Experience in developing and monitoring of project budgets and timelines.
    • A professional approach, which generates credibility and confidence in others.
    • Ability to cope with pressure and work to tight deadlines.
    • A personal commitment to continuous self-development.

    Procurement Officer - Experienced

    Objective

    • Construction company seeks to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer who would be responsible for procuring goods and services in accordance with the company policy and standards, securing quality suppliers of materials and to ensure procurement processes are effective, efficient, ethical and provide best market value.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement the Company’s procurement strategies, policies and procedures that will ensure the correct structures, systems, resources and processes are in place to meet the requirements of operations.
    • Develop procurement Manual.
    • Develop a pool of vendors across board in different locations and negotiate with them to secure the most advantageous terms.
    • Coordinate product delivery logistics with suppliers, importers, transportation companies, Plant and Workshop operations.
    • Implement vendor evaluation.
    • Develop reporting systems for each department to ensure accurate inventory of goods and availability of necessary goods and services.
    • Finalize details of orders and deliveries. And prepare SLA's for all vendors and suppliers.
    • Oversee Materials Procurement to ensure quality, cost, warehousing, inventories, maintenance and logistics are appropriately managed.
    • Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external expenditure
    • Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university in Social Sciences or other relevant discipline
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain / Procurement Management
    • Diploma /Degree in Supply Chain Management or formal training in supply chain management, Vendors evaluation, Supplier Management, Vendor Quality Assurance etc is an added advantage.
    • Fully conversant with modern procurement and purchasing techniques.
    • Have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts.
    • Proven track record of controlling and reducing external spend whilst developing a robust supplier base.
    • Relationship Management.
    • Ability to lead a Team, be creative and innovative, proactive, resilient, attentive to details and having excellent personal mastery and integrity.
