    Project Quantity Surveying

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Preparation approximate estimate and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) prepared by the Consultant QS, preparation of cost estimates, and vetting of tender documents for all special projects.
    • Cost planning and forecasting for special projects.
    • Develop cost assurance frameworks and maintain cost databases for benchmarking and reporting.
    • Provide procurement support including bid evaluation, cost comparison, and contract negotiation input.
    • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost-saving targets.
    • Check vendors’ interim valuation and claims for accuracy and contract compliance before payment recommendations.
    • Coordinate cost control measures and value engineering exercises across projects.
    • Work closely with Consultant QS, Project Managers, Design Teams, SubCos’ CFO, and Finance to align project costs with strategic objectives.
    • Ensure cost-related risks are identified early and mitigated through proactive cost management.
    • Prepare regular cost assurance reports and dashboards for senior management.
    • Conduct post-project cost evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future projections.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    Education 

    • First degree in Quantity Surveying (HND/BSc/B. Tech) and Professional Certification from Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Registered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent international certification approved by Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) 

    Experience 

    • Minimum experience: 6 years relevant experience

    Project Estate Surveyor and Valuer

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Carry out feasibility and viability studies of real estate projects in the Bank and its subsidiaries.
    • Coordinate the execution of real estate projects and ensure compliance with policies and best international practices.
    • Coordinate with the Facility Managers for the maintenance of office buildings and housing estate infrastructures.
    • Coordinate the development processes for development of site and services schemes under special projects to meet the investors/buyers/tenants’ expectations.
    • Participate in the selection, evaluation of JV proposal from intended Partners, and carry out performance management of Consultant Estate Surveyors and Valuers.
    • Coordinate property lease management, valuation verification and disposal/sales strategies to ensure optimal asset utilization.
    • Manage dispute resolution and regulatory compliance while maintaining relationships with government agencies and service providers.
    • Adoption of sustainable, cost-effective design solutions and innovative construction methodologies.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    Education 

    • HND or First degree in Estate Management 
    • Higher Degrees/ membership of professional body and regulatory body (an added advantage),

    • Minimum experience: 6 years relevant experience needed

    Project Architect

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the Architectural and Engineering designs consultants to successfully deliver high profile special projects and infrastructure developments across the Bank and its subsidiaries.
    • Oversee the implementation of design solutions (including spatial arrangement, interior design and urban/estate design) to achieve high standards of functionality and aesthetics across Bank and its subsidiaries.
    • Ensure that all design projects align with organizational objectives, brand consistency, and operational efficiency.
    • Liaise with external (Architectural and Engineering consultants) and internal stakeholders, including Head Office departments and bank subsidiaries, to provide design support services tailored to their needs.
    • Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with industry standards.
    • Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management, providing updates on project milestones and challenges.
    • Oversee the development of design proposals, feasibility studies, and project plans.
    • Ensure quality control measures are in place for all projects, maintaining high standards in materials, construction, and finishing.
    • Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for improvements or necessary adjustments.
    • Track and report on design targets and project execution, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
    • Provide regular updates on key metrics, such as design phases, construction phases and preoccupation phases to support strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze completed projects for lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    Education 

    • B.Sc. Architecture; M.Sc. Architecture and Certificate in Interior and Urban designs as added  advantage.
    • Professional Certifications: MNIA, ARCON, PMP (Project Management Professional)

    Experience

    Team Member, Strategic Resource Functions Audit

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Manages the risk-based internal audit review of Strategic Resources Functions and ensures compliance with approved plans. 
    • Supports in executing effective risk assessment of the various businesses and provides input into the annual/quarterly audit plan for Board approval. 
    • Provides first line support for the Unit Head, SRF Audit to conduct a risk-based audit that ensures focus on strategic areas of the Business. 
    • Assists to develop a systematic and disciplined approach for the Unit’s internal audit performance standards by evolving process improvement frameworks. 
    • Supervises Team Members on Audit assignments and provide first level quality assurance review of team output and ensure knowledge sharing and on the job coaching of team members 
    • Continually assesses, evaluates, and reports to the Unit Head, SRF Audit on emerging issues, industry trends and events affecting the Bank to enable the development of pro-active controls and monitoring mechanism.
    •  Coordinates and provides leadership, guidance and support to the team in achieving the engagement timelines and budget. 
    • Develops and communicates Draft Audit Terms of Reference to Auditees’ Management and participate in formal audit meetings (including kick off and close out) with clear timelines.
    • Examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls, Operational risk, Governance and Regulatory compliance in the Bank’s Strategic Resource Functions 
    • Monitors departments’ Profit & Loss account heads; Review of general ledger balances; review of processes, policies and procedures, conducts special Investigation and report breaches. 
    • Reviews the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and evaluates techniques used to identify measure, classify and report such information. 
    • Reviews team members’ process documentations, walkthrough documentations, Test procedures work papers and implements quality assurance and improvement programs. 
    • Coordinates the preparation of audit work plan, issue summary log and draft audit report. 
    • Engages Heads of Departments and Unit Heads to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of audit sessions and follow-up 
    • Represents the Internal Audit Department/Head SRF on special projects 
    • Engages Management of Bank and act as liaison between audit department and auditee to ensure effective flow of communication. 
    • Complies with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook

    JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    • Education Minimum Education: First Degree/HND in any discipline plus Professional certification, ACA, ACIB etc.; Higher Degree (nice to have). 
    • Experience Minimum experience – 5 years in Audit, Internal Control, Banking Operations and Credit
