    Team Lead Payments (Transaction Banking)

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide overall guidance, strategy and direction in the execution of the team’s product development & management functions and activities.
    • Coordinate the team’s Transaction Banking product development initiatives namely product envisioning, development enhancement and deployment to customers.
    • Conduct periodic product reviews on Transaction Banking products to remain competitive and provide best-in-class solutions to customers bank-wide.
    • Coordinate the management of Escrow accounts bankwide
    • Oversee the team’s activities, ensure minimal customer (internal/external) complaints/issues and ensure prompt resolution by relevant stakeholders
    • Manage relationship with regulatory bodies, billers, mandate owners (such as FIRS etc) in collaboration with the relationship teams and TB TSS (where applicable).
    • Initiate strategic alliances with service providers and review of Transaction Banking offering to all customers of the bank.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
    • Ensure prompt rendition of team’s performance and activity reports to Head TB Products Development.
    • Oversee Transaction Banking (collections/ePayment/Liquidity Mgt/Trade.) transactions processing in all business locations bank-wide to ensure RMs, tellers and processors comply with relevant guidelines and service level agreements with billers, regulatory bodies and mandate owners.
    • Coordinate and ensure the provision of product training, awareness and presentation sessions for staff, customers and prospects.
    • Identify new opportunities for Transaction Banking business growth and improvement and advise TSS teams and Business Units.
    • Provide management information on Cash Management and Trade industry behavior & trends and competitor intelligence to guide marketing strategies/approaches by the sales workforce of the bank.
    • Responsible for the overall delivery of Transaction Banking (collections/ePayment/Liquidity Mgt./Trade) products targets (turnover and revenue) and other KPI parameters for the team.
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.

    EDUCATION

    • Minimum Education:   First Degree in any related discipline. MBA or advance degree equivalent in Business administration, Finance or related field is an added advantage 

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years of banking experience overall  (with at least  3 years of experience in Transaction Banking Solutions deployment).

    Regional Product Manager (South East)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify eBusiness prospects within the region and work with branches to actualize them
    • Measure product performance across the Business Units (IBG, CBG, RBG & PSG) in the region monthly. 
    • Drive the achievement of e-Business and Retail Products’ budgets in the various regions. 
    • Conduct risk assessment and profitability analysis of transactions and business opportunities in the region in liaison with the Business Units for intelligent business decision making. 
    • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook 
    • Identify e-Business and Retail products prospects/opportunities for conversion 
    • Joint Marketing Calls with branches to Customers & Prospects
    • Preparing Product Proposals for branches to aid customer engagement.
    • Training of Marketing Support, Relationship and Business Managers
    • Supervision of the DpSE (Digital Product Sales Executive), TD (Trade Developer) and POS Captain Structure
    • Following up on issues arising from product usage like dispense errors, user creation, card processing etc. via calls, mails and contacts to ensure the issues are resolve within the approved TAT
    • Preparing Monthly Products performance reports and circulating to stakeholders.
    • Attending and presenting product performance reports at Regional / Groups Quarterly Performance Report meetings.
    • Comply with the principles and policies in the information hand book.
    • Drive the Bank agency banking activities across the region

    EDUCATION

    • Minimum education: First degree preferably a numerate degree; higher degrees/MBA

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 3 years working experience in relationship management
