    Sectional Head, Admin & Shared Services

    Job Summary

    Assist to drive the implementation of approved DCP Administrative policies and proceduresto ensure efficient management of office facilities and welfare for the 
    Plant.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage the implementation of approved DCP’s Admin management policies and operations for the Plant to meet the current, emerging, and future operations.
    • Closely monitor the Plant’s Fleet (official and pool vehicles) to ensure optimal usage and
    • functionality, and minimize vehicle downtime.
    • Ensure proper management of the administrative budget and approved expenditure as defined in the manual of authority.
    • Prepare the Administrative periodic management report and submit it to the Head, HAM/Admin for review.
    • Compliance to HR/admin policy and procedures
    • Manage employee welfare and ensure proper coordination of employee wellness programs such as provision of Staff Uniform, Long service /End of the year Party for staff, issues related to HMO, Group Life Insurance, and coordinate NSITF staff in cases like accident and death related to work, etc.
    • Assist the Head of Department in ensuring proper management and maintenance of office inventory and movable assets, such as renewal of company licenses as when due, Verification and Registration of the movable and fixed Assets.
    • Ensure timely investigation and respond accordingly to any reports of faults, breakdowns of office equipment, and call out a contractor if required, and oversee work done.
    • Participate in the evaluation of maintenance service providers and provide recommendations to Ibese Plant Management.
    • Escalate administrative issues to the Head of HAM/Admin for speedy resolution.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of HAM/Admin.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant discipline.
    • Professional qualification in HR Management e.g. Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years progressive HR work experience
    • Very good knowledge and understanding of relevant Administrative process areas such as facility management, fleet management, contract management
    • Good understanding of employee/industrial relations, as well as an appreciation of the dynamics of the labour and employment legislations in Nigeria.
    • Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
    • Very good presentation and communication skills.

    Factory Manager

    Location: OAS P-Kogi, OAS P-Kogi, Nigeria

    Job Purpose:

    The Factory Manager oversees the entire production process, ensuring efficient operations, optimum resource utilization, quality compliance, and target delivery. This role requires strong technical knowledge of PP woven sack manufacturing processes, including extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, and stitching, combined with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Production & Operations Management

    • Plan, organize, and manage daily factory operations to meet production targets.
    • Monitor all stages of PP woven sack manufacturing:
    • PP extrusion/tape plant
    • Circular looms
    • Lamination lines
    • Flexo/rotogravure printing
    • Cutting, stitching & finishing
    • Optimize machine running time, reduce downtime, and ensure efficient workflow.
    • Implement production schedules and allocate manpower effectively.

    Quality Assurance

    • Ensure production quality aligns with customer specifications and industry standards.
    • Coordinate with the QA team for in-process inspections and final quality checks.
    • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any quality deviations.

    Maintenance & Equipment Management

    • Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
    • Ensure proper upkeep of machinery, tools, and utilities (air compressors, generators, boilers, etc.).
    • Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.

    People Management

    • Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff, supervisors, and machine operators.
    • Conduct training on safety, productivity, and quality standards.
    • Resolve workforce issues and ensure a disciplined, productive work environment.

    Inventory & Cost Control

    • Monitor raw material usage (PP granules, masterbatch, BOPP films if used, inks, chemicals).
    • Ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials, spares, and consumables.
    • Control wastage and scrap, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

    Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure the factory complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Implement safety protocols and ensure safe working practices.
    • Oversee housekeeping and adherence to 5S/lean manufacturing principles.

    Reporting & Communication

    • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
    • Communicate production status, challenges, and requirements to management.
    • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics for smooth operations.

    Job Requirements:

    Education

    • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer Technology, or equivalent.
    • Added advantage: Strong knowledge of PP extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, and finishing processes.

    Experience

    • Minimum requirement: 5–10+ years of experience in PP woven sack manufacturing; at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
    • Added Advantage: Familiar with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and ISO standards.

    Head, Quality Control

    Location: DAS P-Lagos, DAS P-Lagos, Nigeria

    Job Purpose

    The Head of Quality Assurance (QA) oversees the complete quality management system for DPL production operations, ensuring all products meet internal specifications, customer requirements, and statutory/regulatory standards. The role includes establishing quality procedures, leading the QA team, ensuring process control at all stages (tape line, weaving, extrusion coating/lamination, printing, automatic cutting/stitching), and driving continuous improvement.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Quality Strategy & Leadership

    • Develop and implement the overall quality strategy and quality management system (QMS).
    • Establish quality KPIs, benchmarks, and performance standards for all production departments.
    • Lead, mentor, and train the QA/QC team to maintain strong quality culture across the plant.

    Quality Planning & Process Control

    • Set testing standards and inspection protocols for raw materials (PP/HDPE granules, masterbatch, additives), in-process materials (tape, fabric), and finished goods.
    • Ensure strict process control in tape extrusion, weaving, lamination/coating, printing, and conversion.
    • Approve process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.

    Product Quality & Compliance

    • Ensure products meet customer specifications related to GSM, denier, tensile strength, elongation, coating adhesion, UV stability, fabric width, lamination quality, printing quality, and stitching.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Maintain compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001) and other industry certifications.

    Customer Interface & Complaint Handling

    • Communicate with customers regarding quality issues, specifications, approvals, and audits.
    • Investigate customer complaints, generate reports, and ensure timely resolution.
    • Provide product improvement recommendations based on feedback and testing results.

    Testing & Documentation

    • Oversee laboratory operations, including tensile test machines, GSM testers, UV test chambers, coating adhesion testers, and other equipment.
    • Maintain all quality documentation, including COAs, test reports, SOPs, calibration records, audit reports, and compliance data.
    • Ensure all instruments are calibrated and maintained per standards.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce rejection rates, wastage, and customer complaints.
    • Implement Six Sigma/Lean methodologies where applicable.
    • Support the development of new products and improvement in product performance.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with production, maintenance, R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams.
    • Approve new suppliers for raw materials after evaluation and testing.
    • Participate in trials for new materials, processes, and machinery.

    Job Requirements:

    Education

    • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Engineering, Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 
    • A Master’s degree is a plus. 

    Experience

    Minimum requirement: 10–15+ years of progressive QA experience in PP woven sacks, flexible packaging, or polymer extrusion. Familiar with ISO 9001, quality audits, and customer approval processes.

    Added Advantage: 

    • Strong understanding of tape line technology, circular loom operations, lamination/coating, flexographic printing, and stitching processes.
    • Hands-on experience with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis).

    Key Competency

    • In-depth knowledge of PP woven sack production processes (e.g., tensile strength, denier, mesh count, UV resistance, lamination adhesion, slip angle).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Proficiency in setting up and managing a QMS (preferably ISO 9001).
