    Chief Security Officer, Okpella Plant

    Job Summary

    The Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Dangote Group will be responsible for identifying potential security risks, developing robust security policies, and implementing comprehensive security programs to protect the organization's assets, personnel, and reputation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure that security measures comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
    • Manage security identification, mapping and proactive engagements with stakeholders
    • Support the development and implementation of security measures in line with DCP policies.
    • Assist in tracking departmental budgets and expenditures.
    • Manage travel arrangements, including itineraries and accommodations for department staff.
    • Facilitate communication within the department and with other departments as necessary.
    • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
    • Support the onboarding process for new employees by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the security manager.

    Requirements

    Education and Qualification

    • Rank of Captain in the Army
    • Bachelor’s degree Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a related field.
    • Minimum of three (10) years of progressive experience in security management.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
    • Familiarity with report writing
    • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
    • Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
    • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
    • Extensive knowledge of security and risk management practices, including incident response and investigations.
    • Experience in managing security operations in a large organization or corporate environment.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

    Patrol Pool Driver, DCT

    Job Summary:

    The Patrol Pool Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patrol personnels, conducting patrols, and monitoring designated areas within the country. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining security and safety standards in DCT trucks across the country.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Drive patrol vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
    • Transport patrol personnels to assigned locations as required.
    • Conduct regular patrols to monitor for any breaches or concerns.
    • Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the management team promptly.
    • Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by ensuring regular maintenance checks and reporting any issues.

    Biometric Officer, DCT

    Job Summary:

    The Biometric Officer is tasked with overseeing and managing biometric systems within the Dangote Cement Transport (DCT). This role requires meticulous documentation and monitoring of all biometric data and activities to ensure integrity and security.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee biometrics registration process for drivers.
    • Ensure acurate data entry and maintenance of driver records in the biometrics system.
    • Verification of drivers on biometrics database, close and create trips for drivers.
    • Ensure that all ATCS’ uploaded on ATC management data base are issued accordingly without deviations.
    • Ensure that all closed waybills are scanned and recorded on accounts paper for collection.
    • Ensure accurate report of all ATCS’ collected from logistics.
    • Approve and validate ATC on the ATC management data base application.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Between 2 to 3 years of experience in administering biometric systems or in a similar position is required.
    • Strong proficiency in using biometric systems and data management tools.
    • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Good understanding of data protection and privacy regulations.

    Skills and Behaviors:

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams across the organization.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
