Dangote Cement Plc is looking for motivated professionals to coordinate and monitor the efficient movement of inbound materials, spare parts, equipment, fuels, and other supplies from suppliers, ports, warehouses, and distribution points to plant locations. The role is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing transportation costs, maintaining supply continuity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inbound Logistics Operations
- Coordinate inbound transportation activities and ensure timely delivery of materials to plants and warehouses.
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively address potential delays or disruptions.
- Track and update inbound logistics status reports for management review.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth material flow.
- Ensure optimal utilization of transport resources and adherence to delivery plans.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate with Procurement, Stores, Production, and Maintenance teams to align inbound deliveries with operational requirements.
- Follow up on purchase orders and shipment schedules to ensure material availability.
- Support inventory replenishment planning by monitoring delivery timelines and stock levels.
Documentation & Compliance
- Verify shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, customs documentation, and transport records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements, and transport regulations.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support customs clearance and import logistics processes where applicable.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor key logistics metrics including delivery performance, transportation costs, lead times, and service levels.
- Prepare weekly and monthly inbound logistics reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Escalate supply chain risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary contact for internal departments regarding inbound shipment status.
- Maintain effective relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers.
- Support contract compliance monitoring and vendor performance evaluations.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CILT, CISCM, APICS, ICSP, or related logistics certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, procurement support, or warehouse operations.
- Experience within manufacturing, cement, mining, FMCG, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
- Experience managing inbound logistics activities across multiple locations will be an advantage.

Job Summary:
A highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Consultant specializing in Onboarding and Recruitment to join Dangote SAP Delivery Center in India. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of best-in-class talent acquisition and new hire onboarding processes for our clients. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional expertise in recruitment and onboarding methodologies with hands-on experience configuring and leveraging leading HR technology platforms (SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting/Onboarding, Workday Recruiting/Onboarding). You'll guide clients through complex transformations, ensuring seamless candidate and new hire experiences, and aligning these critical processes with broader HR and business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Needs Analysis:
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops with HR and business stakeholders to thoroughly understand current recruitment and onboarding processes, pain points, and future state requirements.
- Conduct detailed business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose optimal solutions leveraging industry best practices and system capabilities.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for system configuration and process design.
- Solution Design & Configuration (Platform Agnostic, with specific tool expertise):
- Design, configure, and implement comprehensive solutions for the full recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Recruiting: Job requisition creation, candidate sourcing strategies, applicant tracking (ATS), interview management, offer management, talent pooling, and reporting.
- Onboarding: New hire data collection, document management (e.g., I-9, tax forms), task management (pre-day one, day one, post-hire), cross-functional integration (IT, Payroll, Facilities), and new hire portal/experience.
- Configure workflows, business rules, notifications, and security settings within the chosen HR technology platform (SuccessFactors Recruiting/Onboarding, Workday Recruiting/Onboarding).
- Develop detailed configuration workbooks and design documents.
- Integration & Data Management:
- Define and design integration points between Recruitment and Onboarding modules and other HR modules (e.g., Employee Central/Core HCM, Payroll, Time Management) and external systems (e.g., background check vendors, assessment tools, benefits providers).
- Work with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and integrity across integrated systems.
- Develop data migration strategies and support data cleansing and loading activities for recruitment and onboarding data.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts for recruitment and onboarding processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on consulting experience in HR technology implementations, with a primary focus on Recruitment and Onboarding.
- Proven experience with at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementations of leading HR platforms specifically covering Recruiting and Onboarding modules (SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting & Onboarding, Workday Recruiting & Onboarding).
- Deep functional expertise in end-to-end recruitment processes (requisition to offer acceptance) and comprehensive new hire onboarding processes (pre-day one to full integration).

Perform a variety of tasks pertaining to fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair, and service of mechanical equipment, instruments and structures used within the plant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Shift Technicians to identify problematic equipment/machines in the plant and effect repairs promptly.
- Implement SOP’s for maintenance.
- Execute corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment machines in a timely manner.
- Assist to ensure safety precautions are observed and personal protection equipment are worn during repairs or scheduled maintenance.
- Take inventory of working tools weekly to ensure that it matches the original tool list provided.
- Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments.
- Replace minor fixtures in the plant machines.
- Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
- Enter data into ERP system (e.g., SAP) for spares and consumables.
- Technicians should personally clean operating equipment for effective performance
- Technicians should maintain the tools and tackle properly
- Ensures quality maintenance as per PM schedule
- Reports any break down or stoppages more than 30mins to sectional engineers.
- Carry out briefly- analysis of break down jobs
- Ensure no break down on groups taken for maintenance until next PM schedule date.
- Attends to any breaks down within the shortest possible time.
- Fill the checklist against the job carried out daily and file it properly
- Ensure to remove all scrap after maintenance
- Identify potential environmental and OHS hazards
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- SSCE + 10 yrs experience
- Trade Test I in Mechanical related Trade with 8 years relevant work experience.
- Trade Test II in Mechanical related Trade with 16 years relevant work experience
- OND Mechanical Engineering with 2 years relevant work experience

Job Summary
Overall responsibility for the section, implementation of instrumentation engineering and maintenance policies with company policies and procedures to ensure optimal plant availability for production
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute routine check-ups of instrumentation equipment according to maintenance schedule plan, workload, work force availability and company procedures.
- Coordinate the testing, repairing, calibration and troubleshooting of the Instrumentation Control systems.
- Allocate work orders and supervise instrumentation technicians in the execution of activities ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
- Endorse work feedback and close out work orders in the maintenance database.
- Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical sections and establish a seamless integration between operation and maintenance teams.
- Prepare and review various maintenance performance reports such as Preliminary Failure and Root Cause Analysis Reports.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Section Head.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics and communication Engineering or any other related field.
- 3 years + experience in a related field, preferably Cement plant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of VFD and UPS operation, weighing system, Instrument Load centers.
- In-depth knowledge of all activities in normal duty logbook and ensuring implementation and maintenance of applicable NIS ISO 9001:2008 QMS requirements in the department.
