    Instrumentation Manager - Power Plant

    Job Summary

    The Instrumentation Manager-Power Plant at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for the execution of maintenance activities on installed Control & Instrumentation systems of our Gas Turbine based power plant.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Installation, calibration, telemetering, and recording instrumentation and circuitry in Gas turbine based power plant.
    • Develop specifications for nonstandard apparatus according to engineering data, characteristics of equipment under test, and capabilities of procurable test apparatus.
    • Sketch and build or modify jigs, fixtures, and instruments and related apparatus, and verifies dimensional and functional acceptability of devices fabricated by craft or technical personnel.

    • Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce graphs.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree or it's equivalent in Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
    • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of work experience in Gas Turbine based power plant.
    • Conversance with Instrumentation philosophies, Instrumentation Standards, Engineering Standards and regulations.
    • Knowledge of various kinds of Instrumentation and design philosophy of complete package, Knowledge of different DCS systems & Control Logics,

    Surveillance Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Surveillance CCTV Officer will be responsible for monitoring all systems related to CCTV, in a professional and efficient manner. He will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the security of the plant using the CCTV facility. He will also ensure integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all information gained by compliance, with quality standards and legislation, whilst preserving the rights of the individual.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To ensure effective monitoring of security using existing CCTV System in your area of responsibility.
    • To operate and monitor all systems in the CCTV control room in an efficient manner and ensure that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and codes of practice.
    • To monitor the output of various CCTV cameras 24 X 7 X 365 and raise alerts and escalate if any security breach or potential security breach is noticed.
    • To check the operational status of all cameras and report to E&M team if any is found not functional.
    • To check periodically that the recording of all cameras is happening and report if it is not recording.
    • To ensure CCTV footage recording back up is available for 45 days.
    • To maintain necessary logs/incidents identified if any.

    Head of Insurance

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Head of Insurance is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s insurance strategy, operations, and risk financing programs to ensure adequate protection of business assets, operations, and liabilities. The role oversees insurance policy administration, claims management, insurer and broker relationships, and compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.     KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Professional certifications such as ACII, FCII, AIIN, CPCU, IISA, or related insurance qualifications are preferred.
    • Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in insurance, risk management, underwriting, or claims administration.
    • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
    • Experience within manufacturing, oil & gas, logistics, infrastructure, energy, or large conglomerates is required.
