    Dry Dock Engineer

    Lead a multi-discipline Dry Dock Team in the safe and timely completion of the dry dock scope of work and assist the Technical Manager to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance activities for vessels assigned to him.
    • Manage the different technical teams assigned to the dry dock project to ensure that the scope of work is completed safely, completely, on time and to a high standard.
    • Provide the Reliability Supervisor with daily updates of work progress and highlight any areas of concern relating to quality or schedule.
    • Conduct a full condition survey of the vessel before starting a dry dock period and assist in the preparation of the scope of work, detailing the labour, durations and spare parts required.
    • Train and develop technical teams under his supervision to give them the skills needed in their daily tasks.

    Qualification

    • Relevant tertiary qualification and Computer literate.

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the maritime industry in a technical department.

    Escravos Base Engineer

    To carry out engines and equipment maintenance/repair and to provide assistance for maintenance/repair of defective equipment on board all BOURBON SURFERS Vessels at Escravos Chevron base when
    needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for all dedicated vessels KPIs.
    • Vessel technical availability.
    • Conduct a full condition survey of the vessel for dry dock and stop over period (planned maintenance) and prepare the scope of work, detailed planning with workforce and spare parts requirements.
    • Manage the different technical teams to ensure that the correct repairs have been performed during the maintenance period.
    • Carry out inventory and monthly update the list to send his line management.

    Expected outcomes:

    • Reduce the tools consumption and ensure that the tools are in good condition for use.
    • Contribute to develop the team spirit and their knowledge, promote the HSE rules.
    • Competences development plan.
    • Improve safety in operations and apply company safety rules.
    • Safety records improvement

    Qualification

    • Mechanical Engineering or any related qualification.

    Experience

    • 5 years on Marine engineering industry in a technical department.

    Electrical Engineer

    MISSION

    To support and conduct maintenance of equipment and provide efficient support on board of all BOURBON vessels as and when required. Overhaul repair all electrical equipments to keep BINL Fleet to 95% technical availability.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guarantee fleet availability by carrying out/supervising preventive and corrective maintenance of vessel equipment (including vessel related equipment) onshore and offshore and supporting maintenance / repair of defective equipment on board of vessels when required.
    • To analyze UPMP (root cause analysis) and implement corrective actions
    • Improve safety during operations (including shipyards) by following safety BOURBON safety procedure: carry out toolbox meeting and job safety analysis.
    • Replace all unsafe broken electric boxes, unsafe connection, joints and naked wirings.
    • Submit all required reports as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bsc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

    EXPERIENCES

    • 2- 5 years minimum

    Surfer Engineer (OOW Engine)

    Roles and responsibilities

    • The engineer is directly responsible and accountable to the pilot for supervision and management of all technical and related equipments on board the vessel.
    • Participate to safety of crew and personnel (particularly within the engine compartment) and protection of the environment
    • Conduct inspection and maintenance of main engines, propulsion and machinery systems, and safety equipments
    • Supervise bunkering, report and monitor fuel / oil consumption
    • Assist the Pilot on procurements
    • In charge of taking immediate corrective action in case of emergency situations (fire, abandon-ship, man overboard, technical failures) and providing a written report
    • The engineer has the responsibility of compliance, to follow /apply Bourbon policies and procedures at all times.
    • The engineer shall provide reliable operation of the vessel engines, machinery and all the equipment including propulsion system jets.
    • The engineer has the responsibility to know and apply the client procedures in his daily duties.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

    • OOW ENGINE (NCV/UNLIMITED); STCW CERTIFICATIONS AS APPLICABLE
    • 2 years or more as a Engine Officer or Surfer Engineer
