Job Summary

• Supervise general accounting functions, including co-ordination and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliation and banking relationships.
• Manage all tax and other statutory compliance issues.
• Prepare regular financial status reports (daily, weekly, monthly, as may be required)

Qualification and Requirements

• Must have a B.Sc in Accounting or any other related discipline.
• Must be a chartered accountant (ACCA/ICAN).
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.
• Must possess strong managerial and supervisory skills with a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
• at a supervisory level
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel) and an Enterprise
• Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting functions, including co-ordination and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare regular financial status reports (daily, weekly, monthly, as may be required)
• Prepare periodic bank reconciliation.
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
• Manage all tax and other statutory compliance issues.
• Stock Management.
• Liaise with and provide information to Regulators and Auditors.
• Reconciliation of Receivables and actual payments received.
• Manage debtors account and ensure timely debt collection.

Minimum Requirements

• First degree in accounting or any other related social science course
• Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be conversant with Microsoft Office suite ( Ms Word, Ms Excel, Powerpoint)
• Sound knowledge of at least one accounting software will be an added advantage.
