    Facilities Coordinator

    Job Overview

    • We are looking to employ a Site Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specified site, ensuring a positive and safe environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
    • This role manages the staff and activities at the site, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the progress of all site activities
    • Review daily site work and suggest any improvement measures
    • Ensure project completion as per the set timeline
    • Translate blueprints into plans
    • Coordinate and supervise all workers
    • Provide schedules for workers
    • Liaise with contractors, managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated
    • Maintain safety and quality standards
    • Organize the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project
    • Ensure all equipment are in working order and good condition
    • Write up reports, budgets, project plans, and presenting them to relevant stakeholders
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
    • A minimum of 3 years industry knowledge is strongly desired.
    • Professional qualification is an added advantage.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Good reporting skills
    • Budget and scheduling management experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.

    Plumber

    Job Overview

    • We are looking for an experiencedPlumberto efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems.
    • A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of hydraulic systems.
    • They are patient individuals with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail.
    • The goal is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids.

    Responsibilities

    • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
    • Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
    • Install and maintain water supply systems
    • Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
    • Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
    • Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
    • Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.)
    • Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems.

    Requirements / Skills

    • Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
    • Proven experience as a plumber
    • Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
    • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
    • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Friendly with a great deal of patience
    • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
    • Valid license to practice profession.

    AC Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Repair and maintain washers, dryers, and small appliances
    • Plans, monitors, installs and adjusts the full range of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment by means of an energy management system hands-on work
    • Troubleshoots, maintains, modifies and repairs HVAC systems and equipment including, reciprocating chillers, heat exchangers, fans & fan motors, pumps & pump motors, electric & pneumatic controls, ensuring that they operate at peak efficiency and conserve energy usage
    • Performs installation of mechanical systems to include piping and modifications to existing facility’s cooling systems
    • Utilizes and updates blueprints, technical manuals, manufacturer’s files and other record keeping
    • Perform any and all duties which may be assigned
    • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaged units, split coil systems, air compressors, pumps, air handlers, air cooled condensers, reciprocating chillers, and various heat exchangers
    • Observing prescribed safety standards
    • Install, maintain and service air conditioning and refrigeration units/systems.
    • Carry out periodic planned preventative and predictive maintenance and issue reports thereon.
    • Carry out routine checks and logs of the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
    • Running quality checks to make sure systems are working properly and safely.
    • Diagnose and resolve/correct faults.
    • Repairs faulty refrigeration and air conditioning systems and other electronic equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and gas cookers.
    • Survey buildings where air conditioning systems are fitted or to be fitted and make recommendations.
    • Produce estimates and quotes for work.
    • Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
    • Assists in verifying refrigeration, air conditioningunits, washing machines, dryers, gas cookers, and spares purchased/supplied.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years experience as a refrigeration specialist
    • Experience working with a centralized air conditioning system
    • Experience working on a wide range of electronic equipment.
    • Ability to solve simple and complex electronic faults.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Ability to read and write
    • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
    • Effective time management.

    Facilities Supervisor

    Job Overview

    • We are looking to hire a Facilities Supervisor who will assess and manage safety hazards in the workplace, manage and instruct the site workers, set goals for the team, and see projects through to completion.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and support of residential and commercial buildings, grounds and facilities systems including WTP and STP.
    • Assign work and monitor its performance within shifts or sites to ensure that all contract requirements are met; that all policies and procedures are adhered to, and that all objectives are met.
    • Supervise quality control functions which require regular written on-site inspections conducted with employees, clients and/or vendors.
    • Oversee and manage Site Coordinators' activities
    • Maintain efficient and smooth operations at all sites.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management / Estate Management / Social Sciences / Structural Engineering from a reputable institution.
    • A Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
    • Relevant professional qualifications like PMP, QAQC, HSE etc. will also be an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge is strongly desired.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high level of accuracy in calculations.
    • Must have time and project management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Experience in managing residential apartments.
    • Must have technical knowledge of facilities and must be IT savvy.

    Salary and Benefits

    • N400,000 monthly.
