    Technical Officer - PCR Lab

    Job Description

    • Candidate will be involved in the PCR laboratory personnel capacity building and mentorship, mentoring of health personnel on Early Infant Diagnosis and DBS collection techniques as well as documentation including SOP writing.
    • Mentoring of health personnel on viral load sample collection, processing, documentation, and shipment. He/She would be involved in monitoring and mentoring health personnel at GlobalFund-supported facilities, documentation, and storage of DBS samples, and viral load specimen management.
    • He/She would also be responsible for collating PCR data reports, putting together monthly supply requisitions for GF-supported PCR laboratories, and supporting the running of DNA PCR assays for the National EID and viral load program at the GlobalFund supported PCR laboratories.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • Minimum of BMLS or AMLSCN in Medical Laboratory Science with at least 4 years of working experience in a PCR laboratory.
    • Or MSc in applied biosciences with 5-7 years of working experience in a PCR laboratory.
    • Certification or licence to practice medical laboratory science is an advantage.

    Senior Technical Officer - Comprehensive HIV / TB Program

    Job Description

    • Will provide support to the project implementation of Prevention, Care, and Treatment within the confines of Enhanced Site Management across supported facilities and communities in the Central and Southern Clusters.
    • Provide technical and programmatic support to implement high-quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS programs (ART, PMTCT, TB / HIV, RH / HIV, and HTS) and other services including supervision of technical staff and consultants working at facilities and communities.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BSc / MD / Ph.D. or similar degree with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.
    • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.
    • Or BS/BA in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, or in relevant Degree with 7 to 9 years of progressive relevant experience in managing comprehensive TB and HIV programs in resource-constrained settings.

    Contracts & Grant Officer

    Job Description

    • The Contracts & Officer will be engaged for 2 months and will provide lead administration for the management of awards and sub-awards to include contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements, monitor workflows, and help develop and implement systems to provide sound management control over AHNi’s compliance with award terms and conditions and any policies.
    • S/He will be responsible for the review of sub-agreement and subcontracting implementation activities and contractual arrangements to ensure they meet with donor and organizational regulations, review monthly Sub-Recipients Financial Reports and Advance Request of Implementing Agents.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • BSc / B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5 - 7 years of relevant experience with donor contracts, cooperative agreements, and grant regulations.
    • Master's Degree in Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with donor contracts, cooperative agreements, and grant regulations.
    • The ability to interpret funding contracts and grants regulations and develop implementing procedures is a must.
    • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is an advantage.
