    Lab Technician (Cassava Processing Factory)

    Job Summary 

    • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support quality control and assurance activities within our cassava processing operations.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.
    • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in laboratory procedures, food processing, and quality management systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct routine laboratory analysis of cassava raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products.
    • Perform quality control tests including moisture content, starch content, pH levels, cyanide levels, and other relevant parameters.
    • Monitor production samples to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
    • Record, analyze, and report laboratory test results accurately.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
    • Implement and adhere to laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
    • Assist in investigating product quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
    • Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.
    • Support quality assurance audits and regulatory inspections.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND/HND in Laboratory Technology, Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a laboratory, food processing, manufacturing, or agro-processing environment.
    • Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control practices.
    • Familiarity with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory record-keeping.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

    Account Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting the organization's accounting and financial operations.
    • The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
