    Junior Legal Officer

    Description

    • We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Junior Compliance professionals with experience in some or all of the following, to support the Group’s global governance, compliance, and corporate administration activities: 
      • corporate administration; 
      • corporate governance and entity management;  
      • corporate restructuring; 
      • regulatory filings & deadline management; 
      • KYC and compliance; 
      • company secretarial support. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support statutory filings and corporate registry submissions across multiple jurisdictions (UK, Singapore, Bermuda, India, etc.) and prepare required corporate documentation; 
    • Assist with entity management and corporate administration for a global SPV portfolio; 
    • Draft board minutes, written resolutions, and maintain statutory registers and corporate records; 
    • Conduct KYC/AML onboarding and compliance checks on third parties; 
    • Prepare and provide KYC documentation and group structure charts to banks, counterparties, and service providers; 
    • Coordinate cross‑border incorporations, dissolutions, and corporate changes; 
    • Support intragroup restructurings; 
    • Maintain departmental trackers, databases, and filing systems; 
    • Liaise with banks, auditors, legal counsel, and corporate service providers; 
    • Provide general administrative, compliance, and CoSec support to the legal team. 

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year’s experience in a legal, compliance, corporate services, or financial services environment (experience in shipping, commodities, finance, or SPVheavy groups is an advantage). 
    • Exposure to some or all of the following: 
      • Company secretarial; 
      • Statutory filings & corporate registry submission 
      • Corporate authorities & board documentation 
      • KYC and compliance; 
      • Crossborder corporate changes and restructurings 
      • Interaction with ship registries or overseas registries (advantageous) 
      • Joint ventures and other corporate matters.

    Marine Assurance Superintendent

    Description

    • We are seeking an experienced Marine Assurance Superintendent – Condition Monitoring & Inspection to support the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of our fleet, and ongoing development of our crews.
    • To ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company-owned tanker vessels through inspections, vetting preparation, and adherence to international maritime regulations and industry best practices.
    • The role focuses on pre-vetting readiness, CDI and SIRE 2.0 compliance, and continuous improvement of vessel safety and operational standards.
    • The role is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and assuring the structural and operational condition of vessels, providing independent marine assurance oversight and supporting continuous improvement in vessel condition and safety performance.

    Responsibilities
    Conduct onboard Marine Assurance inspections with emphasis on:

    • Structural condition
    • Deck and cargo system condition
    • Mooring systems
    • Navigation and bridge operations
    • Engineering and safety‑critical systems
    • Crew competency and operational readiness

    Maintain and support a fleet-wide condition monitoring framework, covering:

    • Hull and structural integrity
    • Deck equipment and mooring arrangements
    • Cargo containment and handling systems
    • Navigation and bridge equipment
    • Safety-critical marine systems
    • Crew competency and performance standards

    Analyse condition-related data, including:

    • Inspection findings
    • Defects and breakdown trends
    • Produce clear, accurate inspection and condition assessment reports

    Monitor and report marine assurance KPIs, including:

    • Repeat condition-related findings
    • Inspection outcomes related to vessel condition
    • Critical defects per vessel

    Requirements
    Skills and Competencies:

    • Master Mariner or Chief Engineer
    • Strong vessel operational and safety knowledge
    • Experience with vessel inspections and condition assessment
    • Strong inspection, auditing, and reporting skills
    • Excellent knowledge of tanker operations, cargo handling, and safety practices
    • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and industry standards effectively
    • Ability to work independently and travel extensively on short notice

    Desirable Experience:

    • Experience in marine inspections, auditing, or vetting
    • SIRE 2.0 familiarity or inspector experience
    • Shore-based marine assurance or fleet support background

    Key Skills:

    Process Improvement Specialist

    Description

    • The Audit & Process Quality Officer plays a central role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and reliability of all internal processes across the organisation. The role ensures that every documented process is complete, compliant, clearly written, up to date, and functioning effectively in practice. 
    • You will work closely with teams involved in process development, automation, and governance to assess processes end to end, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
    • This role suits a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and documentation skills. 

    Key Responsibilities
    Process Review & Understanding:

    • Review newly developed and existing processes to ensure clarity, accuracy, and coherence; 
    • Understand the purpose and flow of each process, including key steps, responsible parties, dependencies, and intended outcomes; 
    • Validate that processes align with departmental and organisational standards. 

    Process Documentation & Quality Assurance:

    • Check process documents for structure, completeness, and adherence to established templates and guidelines; 
    • Provide improvement recommendations to Process Owners and relevant teams before approval and live implementation; 
    • Ensure terminology, steps, and actions are consistent across documentation. 

    Audit & Compliance Oversight:

    • Conduct periodic audits on all active processes across departments; 
    • Evaluate whether teams are following documented procedures accurately; 
    • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, outdated steps, or risks in process execution; 
    • Produce detailed audit findings and compliance reports with recommended corrective actions. 

    Lifecycle Management & Updating:

    • Monitor version control, ensuring all updates are properly documented and approved; 
    • Work with the Governance Unit to ensure the most recent version of every process is published and communicated; 
    • Maintain an organised audit log highlighting process status, improvement actions, and implementation timelines. 

    Stakeholder Engagemen: 

    • Collaborate with Process Developers, Automation Specialists, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Process Owners; 
    • Participate in discussions, feedback sessions, and reviews to improve process quality; 
    • Communicate audit results clearly and professionally to relevant stakeholders. 

    Required Skills and Competencies
    Technical & Analytical:

    • Strong understanding of workflow design, process documentation, and internal control principles; 
    • Ability to analyse process flows and identify inefficiencies or gaps; 
    • Familiarity with SOP development and process auditing methodologies. 

    Communication & Collaboration:

    • Excellent written communication for reports and process documentation; 
    • Confident presenting findings and recommendations to teams and senior stakeholders; 
    • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross functional audiences. 

    Organisational Skills:

    • High attention to detail and accuracy; 
    • Ability to manage multiple audits and reviews simultaneously. 
    • Strong prioritization and follow-up abilities. 

    Tools Proficiency:

    • Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, and other process tracking tools; 
    • Knowledge of process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) is an advantage. 

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field; 
    • 2–4 years’ experience in process auditing, business process management, internal controls, quality assurance, or operations; 
    • Experience drafting or reviewing SOPs is strongly preferred; 
    • Prior exposure to structured, process driven environments is an advantage.
