    Junior Finance Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Collect, understand, process, verify and report accounting related-information to
    • his/her vertical head.
    • Professional analytical and management support work assignments.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports.
    • Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications.
    • Manage specialized information, reports, forms dealing with fees, billing, tracking of projects etc.
    • Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company.
    • Assist with financial modeling.
    • Provide general accounting support.
    • Help with accounts receivable management.
    • Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects.
    • Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team.
    • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial analysis packets for management.
    • Work with the assigned manager to review the existing intermediary information database.
    • Assist with cash/bank/investment reconciliation processes.
    • Assist with Accounts Payable / Accounts receivable functions to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by Finance Operations Manager.
    • Work closely with colleagues in business units and participants & issuers to meet business requirements.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
    • 0 - 4 years relevant work experience.
    • Strong interest in exploring a career in Finance.
    • Analytical and a natural problem solver.
    • Able to collaborate across teams, but also work independently.
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    Internal Control Officer - Compliance

    Responsibilities

    • Daily call-over of all activities in both investment and loans,
    • Process compliance review
    • Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
    • Develop and review company policies.
    • Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
    • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
    • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
    • Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
    • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
    • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.
    • Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards.
    • Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. With a regular flow of information and conducting compliance risk assessments, they ensure that the business runs smoothly.
    • Trains and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
    • Acts as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management.
    • Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Management, or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a compliance officer role in the finance industry.
    • Good knowledge of legal requirements, regulations and procedures.
    • Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
