    General Manager

    JOB SUMMARY 

    Our Client a five star restaurant and lounge in Abeokuta is looking to hire a General Manager to supervise and handle all operations of the restaurant to maintain excellent and quality service


    Job overview

     Duties for the General Manager includes coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, Keep records of Mayfair existing members and task the Sales/Marketing team to increase the membership base, Improve Mayfair Sales, maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety, increasing staff productivity. He/She will report to the CEO. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Overseeing daily business operations. 
    • Prepare and implement standard operating procedures. 
    • Manage staff performance in accordance with established standards. 
    • Improving revenue. 
    • Organize and monitor staff schedules. 
    • Interact with customers. 
    • Increase Mayfair membership base and improvement of sales. 

    Requirements: 

    • Minimum of B.Sc in Business Administration or any related field 
    • Minimum 5 years work experience with 3 years in a similar role
    • Good knowledge of different business functions. 
    • Strong leadership qualities. 
    • Excellent communication skills. 
    • Highly organized. 
    • Strong work ethic. 
    • Good interpersonal skills. 
    • Meticulous attention to detail. 
    • Computer literate. 
    • Proactive nature.

    Job Description:

    • Developing growth strategies and plans.
    • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
    • Increasing client base
    • Generating new sales leads and contacts
    • Supervise and lead the company's operations and employees.
    • Perform a range of tasks to ensure company productivity and efficiency including implementing business strategies, evaluating company performances, and supervising employees.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
