    Fund / Management Accountant

    Role Overview

    • Client is seeking a meticulous Fund/Management Accountant to take ownership of the valuation, reporting, and financial control of our investment portfolios.
    • You will ensure that all funds under management remain compliant with SEC Nigeria Rules and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), while providing the analytical support necessary for executive decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fund Accounting: Compute daily/periodic NAV for mutual funds and discretionary portfolios; reconcile cash and positions with custodians and brokers.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Lead the preparation of statutory returns (AQR, weekly/quarterly reports) and ensure adherence to ISA 2025 and NFIU AML/CFT frameworks.
    • Treasury: Monitor fund liquidity and oversee the settlement of trades and vendor payments.
    • Management Reporting: Develop performance dashboards and variance analyses to support budgeting and forecasting.
    • Risk Management: Implement robust internal controls and identify operational or valuation risks.

    Requirements

    • Education: B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
    • Certification: ICAN or ACCA (Qualified or in-view).
    • Experience: 3 - 7 years in Fund Accounting, Investment Banking, or Asset Management.
    • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SEC Nigeria Rules, IFRS, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Excel and fund accounting software is mandatory; Bloomberg experience is a plus.
    • Soft Skills: Uncompromising integrity, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders (Trustees, Registrars, Auditors).

    Chief Accountant

    Description

    • Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to take ownership of a company’s financial operations? We’re looking for a Chief Accountant to manage company financials, reporting, taxation, and budgeting while providing strategic financial guidance to Management and the Board.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage petty cash, supplier invoices, client billing, and monthly financial reports
    • Oversee budgeting, cash requests, intercompany accounts, and foreign exchange coordination
    • Ensure compliance with taxation, licences, permits, and audit requirements
    • Develop financial matrices, monitor profit and cost units, and provide advisory support
    • Maintain accurate financial records and operate SAGE accounting software

    Skills & Qualifications

    Finance Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and issue invoices for all projects.
    • Maintain and update the invoice tracker to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Follow up with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) on payment advice and outstanding payments.
    • Update the Accounts Receivables Tracker to monitor collections and outstanding balances.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers to track and resolve outstanding projects not yet invoiced.
    • Reconciling and updating the Bedrock Cashbook on a regular basis.
    • Analysis and classification of transactions within bank statements.
    • Maintain proper documentation and reconcile the Director’s loan to Bedrock.
    • Preparation and processing of staff payroll.
    • Prepare bank instructions for the disbursement of staff salaries.
    • Prepare monthly pension schedules and ensure timely remittance for all Bedrock staff.
    • Ensure accurate filing and documentation of financial records.
    • Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documents for audits and financial reviews.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
    • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax remittances, and pension regulations.
    • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Proximity to the Office is key.
