    School Librarian

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, schedule, coordinate, oversee, and provide library services independently in accordance with a variety of programs and assignments at assigned school, supervised by the Head of School.
    • Provide access to information through acquiring and organizing diverse materials selected to represent a wide range of subjects, levels of difficulty, and formats, both traditional and electronic or multimedia.
    • Coordinate the selection, ordering, circulation, and inventory of library/media materials; direct the processing of new books, periodicals, and technological selections for the library; complete requisitions for the purchase of books, technology, publications, equipment, and other library materials.
    • Develop a library collection that supports the schools’ curriculum and state content standards; coordinate book orders with teaching staff to provide publications which support core curriculum.
    • Design an accessible, efficient, and inviting facility for student learning. Maintain an adequate system of records on all library/media materials.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
    • Previous work in a school is an added advantage

    Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee operating finances.
    • Whenever possible, look for ways to reduce operating costs.
    • Record and track the transactions.
    • Reconciling bank statements
    • Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
    • Auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.
    • Previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or any relevant Degree with at least 1 year experience working as an Accountant
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
    • Experience with general ledger functions
    • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
    • Additional certification is a plus.

    Responsibilities 

    • Effective stock management and stores administration under approved guidelines.
    • Ensure proper record of all receipts (deliveries) in compliance with the purchase order.
    • Ensure up-to-date postings, stock taking and stock replenishment.

    Requirements

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head, Corporate Services in managing the Enterprise Unit profitably

    Responsibilities

    • Developing programmes of learning activities
    • Planning, preparing, and researching lessons

    • Making use of special facilities and/or equipment
    • Contact and teaching time with students on an individual, class or small group basis
    • Liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists
