    Senior Graphics Designer (Campaigns and Social Media)

    We are looking for a ‘digital-first’ designer who has a passion for social media storytelling and who is excited by the prospect of working on creative, digitally minded advertising campaigns that seek to transition African households and businesses onto green, clean solar energy.

    We operate an internal creative studio model, where design briefs will come in from across the organisation. No two days are the same, and you’ll be accountable for managing a diverse set of advertising and digital graphics materials.  You will be accountable for working with our in-house creative social media and campaigns teams, who will manage timelines, deadlines, and creative workflows. 

    What you would be expected to do

    • Formulate and supervise the agency's creative and design strategy to ensure alignment with the company's overarching vision and business goals.
    • Craft and visualise creative visions for Sun King’s advertising campaigns.
    • Guide and manage a compact team of graphic designers and creatives to produce inventive and top-quality content that fulfills business goals.
    • Oversee staff that produce fresh and engaging content for our social media channels that models ever-evolving digital and design best practices.
    • Direct the company’s creative process from conceptualisation to final execution, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
    • Cultivate an environment of innovation and creativity within the team, empowering the team to explore fresh ideas and experimental methods.
    • From social media graphics to GIFs and fast-paced videos as well as complex web graphics, manage our campaigns and social media graphics, moving image, and motion design content production with assistance from our team of copywriters, social media experts, and fellow in-house motion design and graphics experts.
    • Assist other designers, of various experience levels, to drive the quality of the social media graphics produced, question ideas, and deliver world-class work.
    • Take briefs from internal clients,  questioning internal clients as appropriate. Discussing appropriate options for design and advising internal clients on the best use of graphics for digital platforms whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
    • Work with sales, marketing, products, operations, and other teams to ensure that content is rigorously reviewed and feedback are replied to.
    • Follow the appropriate content production, content management, and sign-off process per Sun King’s standard operating procedures.

    You might be a strong candidate if you

    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in creative within Content or Advertising agencies.
    • HND/B.Sc in Art or related course
    • Proven track record of spearheading impactful creative campaigns across diverse channels.
    • Skilled in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience in After Effects and XD will be an advantage.
    • Proficient in guiding creative teams across global offices.
    • Deep knowledge of above the line and below the line campaign strategy and a proven ability to get projects over the line.
    • Deep knowledge of what works on social media and a proven ability to harness internet, social media, and digital trends and graphics concepts.
    • An eye for design and an ability to lay out artwork at speed to a high standard.
    • Deep knowledge of how to use design to communicate with consumers and sell products.
    • Outstanding communication and relational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Area Sales Executive - MFI, Kaduna

    About the role:
    The Area Sales Executive will work closely with the Commercial team (Partnership Sales) to serve existing and potential Microfinance Institution partners by providing product and service information,  while resolving product issues effectively.

    What you would be expected to do

    • Drive sales across consumer sales channels in the assigned territory.
    • Branch level inventory management
    • Receiving client queries and resolving consumer and channel queries with stipulated guidelines and timelines.
    • Provide assistance towards trade activations and marketing campaigns as per set plans.
    • Planning and conducting product and sales trainings to partner staff.
    • Fulfilling within reasonable time aftersales and warranty requirements.
    • Consolidating reports on other companies selling similar products, routes traveled, branches visited and activated, sales and stock position etc.
    • Performing any other duties that may be assigned.

    You might be a strong candidate if you

    • Have a Degree or advanced Diploma in a business administration/ sales and marketing.
    • Have two to five years’ hands on experience in service/ FMCG or Renewable Energy industry.
    • Are a computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
    • Keen to deliver high standards of service.
    • Must be ready to travel 75% of the time
    • Excellent people skills.
    • Good communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English and spoken local language corresponding to the area of assignment (Yoruba / Edo / Igbo / Hausa).
    • Clear thinking/problem solving ability.
    • Results oriented and able to prioritize measurable goals.
    • Possesses an Android phone.
