    Facilities Lead

    Mission / Purpose of the Job

    • The Facilities Lead oversees and manages brownfield and greenfield facilities and infrastructure projects from concept development through execution and close-out.
    • The Facilities Lead ensures that all facilities are designed, constructed, commissioned, and operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory, technical, and HSE standards.
    • The role provides technical leadership across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to support optimal production efficiency and long-term asset integrity.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of facilities projects—both greenfield (new developments) and brownfield (modifications and upgrades to existing facilities).
    • Ensure engineering designs are safe, efficient, cost-effective, and in compliance with local and international codes, regulations, and best practices.
    • Oversee contractors and vendors during project implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
    • Coordinate closely with drilling, production, operations, and HSE teams to ensure all facilities support optimal production efficiency and operational safety.
    • Serve as the primary technical contact for all facility-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Lead project risk assessments, quality assurance reviews, and implement mitigation plans where necessary.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including JV partners, regulatory bodies (e.g., DPR/NUPRC), host communities, and service providers.
    • Prepare and present project reports, including progress, risk analysis, CAPEX/OPEX updates, and technical recommendations to executive management.
    • Champion a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and safety compliance across all facilities projects.

    Job Specifications: Minimum & Preferred Requirements
    Education / Business Degree:

    • Candidate must possess minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
    • Must be COREN certified (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria).
    • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
    • Membership of NSE, SPE, AACE, or other relevant professional bodies is an advantage.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years’ post-qualification experience in oil & gas facilities engineering.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in senior facilities engineering or facilities lead role.

    Head, Well Engineering

    Mission / Purpose of the Job

    • The Head, Well Engineering is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership for all well engineering activities across the asset.
    • The Head, Well Engineering, ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective planning and execution of drilling, completions, workover, intervention, and abandonment operations.
    • The role drives the delivery of wells to the required depth, schedule, and budget while ensuring full compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate well delivery processes.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Engage in preparation of well engineering design and operational plans for drilling of wells, including well planning, casing design, material and equipment selection, log evaluation, quality assurance, and post-job evaluation.
    • Define rig selection criteria and requirements.
    • Manage the Well Delivery Process (WDP) and the Project Maturation Process (PMP) and ensure compliance with the processes.

    Geologist

    Mission / Purpose of the Job

    • The Geologist is responsible for the interpretation, integration, and modeling of subsurface geological data to support field development planning, drilling, completions, and reservoir management activities.
    • The role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality static reservoir models, evaluating geological uncertainties, and providing continuous field life updates to maximize hydrocarbon recovery while ensuring technical integrity, safety, and alignment with business objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Build and update static earth and reservoir models, as essential requirements for well planning, field development activities, planning & monitoring operational activities across company’s asset.
    • Input to geological projects and studies and integrate study results into field development models.
    • Perform model building and uncertainty modelling to ensure consistent models are fit for purpose for Well re-entry plans, well intervention plans, Exploration and development drilling, and is essential for Full Field Development planning.

    Operations Technician

    Mission / Purpose of the Job

    • The Operations Technician role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production facilities and associated assets.
    • The Operations Technician supports day-to-day production activities, routine and minor non-routine maintenance, and operational monitoring to ensure optimal performance of oil, gas, and power generation facilities.

    Senior Reservoir Engineer

    Mission / Purpose of the Job

    • The Senior Reservoir Engineer provides technical leadership in reservoir management, production optimization, and dynamic reservoir modeling to maximize hydrocarbon recovery across the company’s assets.
    • The role serves as the critical link between subsurface reservoir behavior and surface production performance, delivering reservoir simulation, forecasting, and well performance analysis to support field development planning, production targets, and operational excellence in line with world-class hydrocarbon maturation and well delivery practices.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the reservoir management and Production Data Management for the Petroleum Engineering Department and Champion Hydrocarbon Accounting Implementation / Reconciliations
    • Deliver reservoir simulation, forecasting, dynamic modelling and overall reservoir management within the company’s assets by working with the geomodeller and production geologist
    • Deliver well & completions designs for all wells, Production optimization and multi‐discipline projects in accordance with World Class Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and Intervention projects in accordance with World Class Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and Intervention Processes, and the deliverables set by client requirements to optimize Oil & Gas recovery.

    • Significantly contribute to/ lead the delivery of quality reservoir development studies, field development plan (FDP), the Identification of production improvement opportunities and production optimization studies in conjunction with reservoir engineers, petrophysicists and production geologists.
    • Well surveillance - Well Performance monitoring, Monitoring and follow-up/resolution of Production deferment issues, Bean-up candidates identification/ follow-up for execution.
    • Coil Tubing job planning, well stimulations. Low production/Off-Production monitoring (wells).
    • Reservoir Engineering contribution to Field Review.
    • Well Performance Review: Identification of wells for Coil Tubing re-entry and Rig re-entry for repairs.
    • Conceptual Completion Design, understanding of a completions design and their services interfaces•MER Coordination and Interface Management with DPR.
    • Reservoir Engineering input (Well histories and well performance review/ update. production performance plots generation, well performance (NODAL analysis) to Field review.
