    Driver

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a driverwho will convey company goods and staffto their differentdestination in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Driving a variety of vehicles, such as cars, buses and trucks
    • Picking up goods and staffand driving them to the desired destination
    • Performing inspections of vehicles and equipment
    • Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and customer service
    • Assisting with loading and unloading goods from the car
    • Keeping track of road conditions
    • Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
    • Delivering goodsto clientsin a timely manner.
    • Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
    • Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
    • Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
    • Updating monthly mileage records.
    • Working on weekends.
    • Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
    • Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.

    Qualifications

    • WAEC or a high school diploma is required
    • 2 years’ experience as a company driver
    • A valid driver’s license.
    • A clean driving record.
    • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
    • Familiarity with GPS devices
    • Knowledge of area roads and other states.
    • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.
    • A polite and professional disposition.
    • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
    • Must be ready for a prompt interview and also to resume immediately.

    • Filing of corporate tax returns.
    • Experience in providing financial advice.
    • Must be honest
    • Must be detail-oriented
