    Housekeeping Officer

    Job Description

    • Answer immediately to requests from guests.
    • Replace used amenities in guest rooms.
    • Provide clean linens and terry for dirty ones.
    • Fold terry, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean.
    • Take away, room service items, dirty linen, and trash.
    • Perform checks on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary.
    • Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them.
    • Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets.
    • Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies.
    • Provide immediate reports of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to the supervisor.
    • Apply professional language in communicating with guests and other people.
    • Provide support to the team to achieve common goals.
    • Maintain quality standards and expectations.
    • Keep your uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always.
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
    • Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests.

    Requirements

    • A Degree or HND holder in any field.
    • 2 - 3 years of experience.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Certified or experienced housekeeping executive or similar role.
    • Good understanding and hands-on experience of maintenance tasks; housekeeping cleaning and washing equipment, tools and cleaning chemicals.

    Receptionist

    Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations, both in person and over the phone.
    • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively, aiming for complete guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
    • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
    • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND qualification.
    • 2 - 5 years of work experience.
    • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
    • Proficient in using hotel management software and standard office applications.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

    Experience:

    • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a full-service hotel preferred.

    Laundry Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Report faulty equipment, and maintenance needs, to the Laundry Supervisor.
    • Knowledge on all laundry procedures, including safety procedures and equipment operation.
    • Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
    • Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
    • Make sure all clothes are packaged properly with tag numbers and are all in good condition.
    • Clean and maintain laundry and dry-cleaning machines.
    • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
    • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
    • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
    • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
    • Adherence to quality expectations and standards.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
    • Excellent communication skills
